Species Bio:
Makomon as a species are volatile predators. Constantly hungry, they'll eat just about anything until they can evolve. If something is too big, they'll spew their highly acidic bubbles to melt down their prey to make consumption easier. They're normally found burrowed underground with just their "fin" sticking up from the ground to lure unsuspecting prey. The fin acting as an ear, they're able to feel and hear when something is nearby and able to determine if it's predator or prey. If the former, Makomon will pull their ear underground until the danger passes, prodding it back up once the threat is passed. Makomon are known to devour even digimon of the second and first stage if they become too curious. Their main diet consists of birds, insects and small rodents. Once they've had their fill, Makomon will become tame and very friendly and bounce happily above ground, just beware when they become hungry again.
