Dreghuul watches as his apprentice Valereaux Maxim, Darth Cobalt, not only summon the spirits of her fallen cadre of Sith Assassins but reforms their flesh and bones using the awesome power of the Chu-Gon Dar Cube. Dreghuul was strong in the force on a broad sense but lacked Valereaux' natural specific arcane talents. Both her and the cube were critical to Dreghuul's plans to resurrect an army of fallen apprentices to finish his personal war against the resurgent Sith Empire.
