another turn around project for my Journey comic. Marana Tok'bel is a Lohrke. She is Tav Unt'bel's cousin, and works at a Magma Diver ranch. She has been secretly modifying a heat suit, normally worn to protect ranchers or workers from the heat of the nearby magma runs and the defensive blasts of the Magma Diver beetles into the suit seen here. She's been reducing it's bulk and making it more comfortable for prolonged wear for the secret purpose of making an excursion to the surface. When Aldwin and company pass through her town, she sees their arrival as her ticket out of the caves. She wields a modified flint-lock rifle as her weapon of choice, and like all Lohrkes, has a penchant for invention/ modification.

When you say "modified flink-lock rifle" why do I somehow get the feeling you actually mean Lohrke technomancied clip-loaded high-velocity sniper rifle? ;)
So... I have to wonder, with that suit, are there zippers in the feet/tail to allow her glowy bits out? I'm guessing she can't walk on walls with them sealed-up (though that's obviously the preferred configuration for high-heat and hazardous areas).
I'm also getting a little "Tali" vibe from that helmet, which is actually pretty cool.

I definitely look forward to seeing her in action. I know that the Journey comic is going to take a loooooooong time to even hit a semi-finished form, but my perv-sense has me guessing that Marana won't wait for it to be finished before she, uh, starts showing off her 'wares'. ;3
Also, is it just me, or was Tali the only romance worth shooting for in ME2? I'm sad she wasn't a choice in ME1. :<
Of course, if there's a chance for some Krogan romance in ME3, I may have to leave Tali by the wayside for at least one playthrough. XD
