Snowbeast patreon month stuff. Nailing down setting bits and drawing some joking bits.
Every critter in the manatear can shift into a unique variant depending on what nonsense they deal with. This one specifically steals melons as a game against caravans. Said caravans have many names for this doofus but know to keep melons for them to steal to keep them satisfied and out of their ways.
It's way cheaper to lose a melon than a caravan guard.
Their a melon flavored snowcone. :)

I was wondering, I remember some of the older post mentioning that people turned into Snowbeast will eventually turn back to normal. Is there anything that triggers that? Or just a time based thing?
Also, what is the process of them turning back to normal? And what happens if like, apart fo the snow body is missing/damage when they go back to normal?

In setting it is a hard rule that recovery is always possible. It's mostly a combo of needing to escape the scenario enforcing it, though ele'in transformations are harder to escape on average because while you are one, you have all of two braincells to rub together to realize something is up. Not a very high success rate without external stuff knocking them out of it.
Once they are "defeated" it'd be way easier to change them into something else, one example I plan on drawing is sculpting them into a new shape and feeding them hot soup which makes the snow fall right off. As far as snowlimbs go, it doesn't really matter as they can be reformed as long as snow is available, you just need the majority of the snowpile from the same beast if you are doing "make a snow furry" rescue TF route.
