What in blazes hit her? It looks like MONSTROUS force to leave cracks that far away from the impact point!
Her body is stone with some of the give of flesh, yes? For that, the crystal lattices would have to be configured in a way that should makes it very tough stone as well.

He body is black marble, and no, she is not soft as a human body.

But she can reconfigure her body a bit.

Showing muscles or looking more lean, and stuff like that.

As for what happened to her... She saved her beau from troubles he had with the russian mafia.

But she can move her body like it was flesh? That should require small crystal structures arranged without ready shearing planes. So damage like that should require tremendous force. It makes her actions all the more impressive.

In the case of the 4 ladies from the series "the beatiful" i wanted to just explore "hard bodies" but the answer in this specific case is "magic".

As in "she needs magic to be alive" so her body moves "because magic".

I do not do this often, I normally try and give a better explanation.

While she is as tall as a normal human being, with a (canon) mass of only 300 Kg, you can already tell she is not particularly dense.

She is not a DC super hero... heck she is not even a Marvel super hero.

But if you need to know: Her body's hardness on the mohs scale is only 4, so you could scratch her surface with most normal knives.

The silly thing is that her gold inserts are actually harder than her black marble, with an hardness of 5.5, and last i checked gold has never had the fame of something... hard. 😂

And while saving her beau she got shot and she got grenades thrown against. And was hit by a literal bus.

So... uh... yeah.

The only reason she is still in one piece? "Magic".

Marble is essentially calcite.

While she has a ton of quartz inserts which give her the black color and an hardness above normal for marble, marble is used by sculptors for a simple reason: it's easy to file and to chip away.

If it had been too hard to shape, artists would never have used it to create works of art.

So she is not exactly invulnerable by an armed human being.

Oh. I didn't actually know she was actual marble... I just thought she looked like it.

I think the 'softness'' of gold isn't true Moh scale softness. On the Moh scale, glass is as hard as steel; they scratch each other readily. Glass is just far more brittle than steel.
Gold may be tougher than it seems, but is exceptionally malleable. It may just appear weak because it's bendy.

Gold is twice as hard than copper and just about as easy to work with.

That, and its rarity is probably why it was so sought after in ancient times, then it stuck.

It also doesn't corrode, or dissolve except under severe duress... something that has make it valuable in certain tech or medical applications. If 'Iron Man' was any indication, it has other properties I neither know nor understand.
People have been noticing at least the corrosion-free aspect of gold for ages.
