Part two of Princess's origin story, in which she still doesn't actually tell her origin! Whoops. It'll probably be in part three? In the first part Princess talked about how she met a friend and escaped from captivity, taking the first steps on a brand new life. In this part, she settles in and discovers that she doesn't mind being a pet... Of course, actually saying that out loud is another step, but it seems to go pretty well for her. It helps that she's picked an owner that is kind and caring. Meanwhile, her friend is taking the first steps to a career of magic, since he lucked into a mostly-intact library and a base of operations. The future is looking pretty bright indeed! But she can't ignore her past forever, as tempting as that is.
Part two is a little shorter, weighing in at 5843 words, or about 8.5 pages on Google Docs. One thing that was mentioned was that I'd completely forgotten to write a description of Princess in the first part, so I made sure to include one in this chapter. There's also a picture in my gallery here if it helps.
Originally rated Mature because of discussion of events in the first chapter. If the first part squicked you out, you may or may not be able to handle this part. But on the plus side, it's confined mostly to the first paragraph. I would also rate it for the amount of red squiggly lines when the blacksmith was talking, but those don't show up here. But I'm dropping it back to General because it's probably fine.
