"Eek!!" Elsie suddenly screamed, immediately drawing Cikyla's attention to her companion she was to look after while the two followed up on recent reports of unusual, possibly paranormal or supernatural activity that locals claimed to have observed in this dilapidated house that once at some point had been a dwelling of the well-to-do layer of society.
Most likely the old building had gained its haunted reputation because of the sorry state it is in, not having been occupied or maintained in decades, and the imagination of a bored population fueled by horror media and news articles of actual sightings.
But the job required checking these collectors of dust, spiderwebs, molds, and local rats, bats, and spider populations in case they may be the genuine article.
Before Cikyla could even ask what it was that scared Elsie, the tigress jumped, and instinctively landed in the arms of the nearest living being, apparently under the impression that it would be a strong male who would protect her from whatever had her shaken up.
There was only a teensy error in this course of action; Cikyla is not a strong male but rather a skunk girl very unlikely able to carry a tigress who is a head bigger than herself.
Before she could even mention this to Elsie she got a face full of breast that made her stagger backwards as these hit her, after which a load of orange white black striped fur dropped into her hands.
What then followed were two shaking but very strong arms that wrapped tightly around Cikyla's head that clearly were not going to let go of her anytime soon.
So as the panicking tigress screamed and sought comfort and protection, the skunk girl struggled to stay on her feet while her face is being pushed into her companion's chest.
"Spine... about... to... give... out" Cikyla barely manages to whisper.
While investigating some creep old mansion for any spooks or ghouls, something managed to take Elsie by surprise, sending the tigress into a flight instinct and making her home in on the nearest warm body, regardless of size.
That body being Cikyla who isn't exactly suited to carry someone almost twice her size and more than her own body weight.
