a very emotional piece showing something that sadly is somewhat common.

It´s this kind of art that makes me kick people in the groin for saying that furries is all about sex and nothing else.

Well, the majority is sex, so you can't blame them for seeing it that way. :/ Show them one good emotional image, they'll show you ten pictures of porn at least. @__@;

still, it´s lazy to see a few adult pics and draw the whole furry art with one big comb saying that´s what all art is.

And then she bites his neck. And when he turns around, she soccer kicks him squarely in the balls with the impact force of a MOAB at ground zero. And while he's coughing up future children through his eye sockets, she tells him never to ignore her again.

Wow, I can definitely see that he his Manji's dad. But where Manji looks cute and handsome he looks quite fierce and a bit scary o.O

Again you did an amazing job on drawing this he really scares me (and I wonder why Kathy fell in love with him ^^ )

He's frightening, but he has a way of swaying the opposite sex quite easily. He DID care for her, and does still remember who she is. It's not like "Oh, I'm gonna mess with this girl's heart for a few years, then poof." He cared for the girl long enough, but just kind of...grew tired. Kathy had a little bit of an addiction to him. She truly loved the guy, and the fact that he gave her a son didn't help her forget him. But! She wouldn't change that for anything <3 she loves her son.

I'm glad that Manji comes after his mom ^^ aaaand I can't wait to see how his relationship with Fel will turn out ^^

why he ignores her ?

It's a long story. TL;DR version of it, Kikai's main intentions were to destroy what little Kathy's FIRST mate, Jun, had. And, since Jun had 'disappeared', he figured it would be the best time to get to her. He did, and for a good five to ten year run, they were together, but at the end, he just got bored of her, and decided that was the time to move on, and he found 'interest' in another. He left Kat broken, and pregnant.

*reads the above coments* A demon huh? Not some other supernatural that's easier to call a demon, but an actual demon.... explains the ignoring and rough departure.
And she thought that would end well why?

Because she's naive. At first, she had no clue. She knew he was different, she could feel it, but it wasn't until he started to loosen the 'normal' image that she could see him for what he was, but she still loved him. This happened while she was still 'young', so she thought everything would be okay, but having lived through his departure, and the death of her mate after him, she's become far more cautious when it comes to men of any sort, and steers clear from the 'darker' ones completely.

For more information on the character himself, you'll have to talk to my mate about it since it's his creation. :3

I didn't comment earlier when I added this piece to my favorites. I'm going to now because, well, it deserves a comment.

Honestly, looking at this piece makes me want to cry. I'm tearing up a little bit right now while I look at it.

I know how she feels. I feel ignored by the man that I'm in love with and it hurts. I won't get into personal stuff because, y'know, no one but me cares, but I like that I an look at this picture/read the comments and know I'm not the only person going through something like this and that other people have been there and survived.

ANYWAY. It's very well done. You convey a lot of emotion in her, in the set of her ears, in the hand curled around his shoulder, in the tear trailing down her cheek. And, for his part, he seems as standoffish and uninterested as he should.

Well, the TL;DR version of their story is that they were together for many years, and she was head over heels in love with him. He grew bored close to the end of their relationship and eventually left her. :/

They're pretty tragic, but he's been my favorite mate for her x_x he's my hubbie's character.

He is very attractive. I had a similar situation with my previous bf. I wasn't bored but I fell out of love with him. I didn't feel the passion any more. So I ended the relationship. He was still in love with me and I think he still is. Hes still 1 of my best friends.

That is almost the same situation. :/ 'cept Kai was cruel about it, and even assaulted her when she tried to take his arm and hold it when he was leaving. Hence the scar in her ear. [In later pictures, you'll see a thick cuff. she wears that to hide the scar in her ear.]

Okay now he is an asshole for hurting her instead of asking her to let him go! I take that back assholes are NOT attractive! Not yelling at you...just making a statement.

Yeah...asshole. Although...there are those caring demons...and sometimes demons can change but...he used her for his own personal gain...if he loved her...why did he push her away in the first place?

that's the thing. He loved her, but not enough to keep her. He eventually found that there were other women who were more entertaining than she was, which he found out while they were an item.

Yeah...I hope he gets hurt physically and emotionally. Assholes deserve some torture but I draw the line at killing them. I just like a few broken bones and a broken heart. I still like the pick but not the guy. I would so be the girls friend and give him a piece of my mind and a foot in his balls
