The January Patreon of
shonuff44 shows quite well that Hula Girl is not to be taken lightly in a fight, even against a laser-wielding rocketing battle robot. ;).
I often comment in pictures about a sense of motion, but this picture really takes that to a whole other level. From the positioning of both Hula and Mecha you really feel that kick that sends Mecha flying, accented by her flailing feet, and her swaying hair, but the rolling motion lines really show the rolling motion that led to this moment as the two clashed, highlighted by the shape and motion of Hula Girl’s hair, and even the swaying of her arm and ankle leaves. Mecha may not have been playing around in the previous image, and Hula Girl is certainly not playing here either, and that roll and kick being able to send her metal mockup flying like that really says a lot about her strength, prowess and nimbleness, and such ferocity in her expression. Mecha on the other hand seems caught completely offguard by this, and that digital expression hilariously conveys her disorientation, panic, and imminent impact with the ground. The detail work on Mecha continues to amaze me, that is a seriously impressive looking robot,… but she may have bitten off more than she can chew. ;).
Thank you for another awesome image, ShoNuff. :).
What do you think? :D

It was at this moment that Ultron, who was still dressed in drag, had made a terrible mistake XD . But in all seriousness, this is still a great pic :). To see Hula Girl being able to roll her robotic counterpart numerous times, really shows that she's not one to be trifled with, even if you are a robotic counterpart. And to see her getting the upper-hand, shows who is in control of this fight now ;). Great work from Sho all around :)
Haha! Indeed, the moment of realization of the mistake. ;). I'm glad you think so, and yeah, it really does show that Hula Girl is no easy fight, even for a robot, I mean, she is a super-heroine afterall. And yeah, she does seem to have a good handle on this fight, atleast for the moment. Glad you like it. :)
You know Hula Girl is stronger then she looks when she's able to move a heavy metal mecha with rocket thrusters where she wants to with just her bare feet. Bare feet I totally am not biased towards. Oh hey, a award on DA!
And hey, pretty fun to both see the mecha literally be off balance, and Hula Girl from quite a unusual angle.

Yeah, being able to flip a robot made out of metal, and undoubtedly heavy, metal certainly does show Hula Girl's strength, especially just using her bare feet. No, no bias there at all, why thank you. ;)
Yeah, seeing the pose and expression of the off-balance mecha is great, and that is quite an unusual, yet effective, pose and angle for Hula Girl.

Oh indeed, metal and everything that's inside of that thing, defiantly some strong feet there. Exactly, I like seeing feet in a design, not them being the focus. ;)
Oh it absolutely is, and yeah, a great angle for her, though I feel like some people might prefer seeing this from the other side of her legs ;)
