OW!!! GOD DAMIT!!! Louis fell to the ground in pain as his ankle began to hurt again, Legosi gasped as he bent down to pick louis up from his injury.
“Louis!!! Are you okay!?” said Legosi as he gently picked louis from the ground and carefully patted the dust of his green school jacket.
“I’m fine, I don’t need your assistance every time a have a little mishap with my ankle” said Louis calmly, he was really good at hiding the pain his left ankle was giving even when he was performing Adler in the school drama.
Louis had fractured his leg when he was helping one of the drama members Zoe memorize his lines for the drama they were performing in the academy gym and Zoe had tripped and had nearly fallen off the stage if Louis hadn’t stepped in and pushed him out of the way, since then he had to hide the pain of his fracture when practicing at rehearsals and it kept on getting worse until at the end of the drama when the curtains fell down Louis succumbed to his injury and passed out.
When Louis woke up in the nursing dorms the fracture had caused so much damage to his leg that he couldn’t continue playing Adler in the play so he asked Bill the Bengal tiger to be his stand in, Legosi feeling somewhat responsible for the incident that night decided to take it upon himself to protect Louie until his fracture had fully healed.
Louis of course was against this idea and calmy told Legosi that he was okay, but the others disagreed otherwise as they seemed to think Legosi was suitable for this type of job since he was known to be quiet shy for most of the time but only acted aggressive when he needed to be.
So the red deer had no choice but to allow the grey wolf to walk around with him until his ankle had fully healed and was still getting used to being around Legosi when walking down the school halls, the two young mammals were heading down to the Louie’s dorm after watching Bill’s performance in the school theatre.
“So… what did you think about Bills performance tonight?” asked Legosi.
“To be honest, it was like watching a scared little kitten trying to act like the alpha male when it was clearly obvious that he wasn’t meant to be, but I guess that was expected given the curse of Alder” said louis.
“I guess your right, I mean he was stumbling with his lines for a bit and sounded a off when doing he emotional scenes”.
“But his movements and posture were alright and his elegance and movement were spot on with the performance so I’ll see to it that he knows my thoughts, and I was surprised to see Kai’s acting ability shine through as one of villain roles Bill had”.
The two mammals eventually managed to enter Louis’s dorm and Legosi carefully walked Louis over to his bed and the red deer carefully took his shoes off and lifted his legs up onto the bed, Legosi could see the struggle Louis was having with his ankle and wondered if he should do anything about it.
“Uh hey Louis, I can that you’re struggling with the pain so I was wondering if you want me to massage your ankle if that’s okay?” said Legosi.
Louis stared at Legosi baffled that he would have the audacity to ask if he could massage his foot in front of him, normally he would never let predators touch him in anyway possible whether it was physical or mentally but Legosi seemed like he wanted to help him with his pain and from what he heard from the other drama members he was pretty nice to everyone.
“Alright you may do so but try anything funny and I’ll beat you till your face is purple” said Louis sternly.
“Ok, I promise that I won’t go hard on it and that I’ll only do it on your terms” said Legosi.
The young wolf sat down beside Louis feet and began to remove his socks, surprisingly Louis’s feet smelled rather nice and Legosi’s tail waggled in excitement.
Legosi quickly noticed his tail moving and blushed embarrassingly as Louis stared at the tail with a confused look on his face, as Legosi began to prepare he noticed the number 4 inked on the bottom of Louis’s left foot.
“Why does Louis have the number 4 tattooed on the bottom of his left foot?” thought Legosi.
Just then he placed his hand gently onto the swollen part of the ankle and carefully began to rub into it ever so slightly, Louis grunted as the wolf’s hands pressed onto the swelled-up ankle and the pain slowly feeling present.
Louis was surprised of how gentle Legosi was and how he was carefully using the palms of his fingers so that his claws wouldn’t scratch the skin off his body, he felt regret that he urged the wolf to show off his fangs to him since he was disgusted by the fact that Legosi wasn’t using his body to the fullest and was pretending to he weak just so he could cower in the shadows.
“So Legosi, could you explain why you decide to volunteer to help me while my ankle was healing?” asked Louis.
“Well I kinda felt bad about what had happened that night when you were with Zoe and I wanted to pay you back this way so I guess that was why”
“You were on guard that night like you were supposed to, I mean you had no part to play in that incident at all… unless there’s another reason why you’re here”
Legosi fell silent as he was reluctant to say why he was really with Louis.
“Ok, I’ll tell you but you have to promise not tell anyone else about this”
“I promise, this conversation is between you and me”.
Legosi took a deep breath and told Louis about what had happened that night.
“While you and Zoe were busy with the rehearsals, I caught a scent of this female rabbit and then my instincts turned on and…”
Louis could see the look of discomfort on the grey wolf’s face as he really didn’t want to tell what had happened so Louis urged him to continue.
“As soon as I sensed the rabbit I lunged at her and tackled her to the ground!!!, my instincts were telling me to eat her but I didn’t want to and it was only after Zoe called me about what had happened is when I snapped out of it”
“Did the Rabbit survive?
“Yes, she escaped right after Zoe had called but I scratched her so hard that she managed to get a wound on her chest, I felt so bad about that night and when you broke your ankle I thought that maybe I could some how redeem myself for what I almost did”
Louis could see that Legosi was beginning to cry as his eyes were beginning to water, he could see that Legosi was in a lot of pain after telling that story to him.
“I’m… glad that you told me what happened that night, it must have been horrible to keep that bottled up inside you” said Louis
“Yeah, *sniff* I do kinda feel a little better now” said Legosi as he wiped away the tears in his eyes.
Louis felt bad after Legosi had just told him his darkest secret, he felt that maybe he should tell him about his awful secret too.
“Well since you told me about your secret, it appears I should tell you about mine as well” said Louis.
Legosi stopped crying and was surprised, Louis the most popular student in Cherryton was going to get personal with him and tell him a secret that no-one else knew about.
“A… are you sure about that?, I mean you don’t have to if you don’t want to” sniffed Legosi.
“Well id feel guilty for not telling you mine after you told me your so I might as well do so, but only if you promise me not to tell anyone the same way I decided not to do so with yours”
“Oh yes!!! Your business is your business alone”
“Alright where to begin… have you noticed the number four is tattooed on the bottom of my foot?”
“Yes but I didn’t want to question you about it in case you were sensitive about it”
Louis sighed in annoyance, “god this pup gets on my nerves whenever he tries to act all soft” thought Louis.
“The reason why it’s there is to show that no matter what I do or say, I’ll always be seen as weak”.
Legosi was confused as to what Louis was saying but proceeded to listen to him.
“You’ve heard of the black ally market, have you?” asked Louis.
“Kind of, I never really paid that much attention to it since it’s not really something I’d look for”.
“Well somewhere in that market there was a livestock market where herbivores are bred to be sold and eaten to carnivores and I was one of those animals”
Legosi was shocked to hear what Louis had said to him but let him continue.
“Ever since I was born, I was nothing more then an item for the dinner menu and I didn’t know about anything from the outside world, I couldn’t even speak for god’s sake!!!”
Louis felt hurt talking about his past and seemed to understand where Legosi was coming from about his secrets.
“That all changed when my father, Oguma, found me in the black market and decided to adopt me since that he needed to have an heir that everyone knew as his own son and the ally was the perfect place for that since there was no record of me or any of the other animals anywhere”.
Louis looked at Legosi and saw the distressed look on his face and huge fat tear streaming down his face, he didn’t think that the wolf would get so emotional about his past but apparently he was.
“Louis… I’m sorry for what happened to you as a kid…” whimpered Legosi.
“Why should you be sorry!!! you’ve never had to feel weak in your entire life!!!”
“I know!!! but no herbivore or carnivore should ever had to experience for what you went through and it just makes me so mad to no-one knows about this!!!, I’ll say it to you right now that you not weak emotionally cause the way I see it is that you lead the drama club with pride and know what’s best for everyone even if they don’t know it themselves”.
Louis could see that Legosi was being honest with how he felt about him and how others saw him as, however it was all an act on the outside since on the inside he was scared at the fact that he would never be as strong as the carnivores.
“I appreciate that you understand what I went through and all that but you wouldn’t know what it was like in there to feel trapped and helpless”.
“Maybe not but I know deep down that it’s wrong to feel that way and that you shouldn’t hate yourself just because of what you are”
The red deer noticed that the grey wolf was getting closer and closer to him the more they talked and it didn’t feel like he was trying to eat him, it felt as though he wanted to get a kiss from him.
Legosi and louis were both surprised that they told each other’s dark secret even if they only knew each other for the past few days and yet there was something that the two mammals didn’t know was there and it felt rather good and comforting.
But Legosi realized that he shouldn’t kiss Louis after nearly killing the rabbit student that night.
“Louis… I”
“No, it’s okay… let all of your feelings out” said Louis softly as he got closer to the grey wolf.
Legosi was still nervous but he trusted Louis and decided to embrace his presence, the two mammals were now face to face and were memorized by each others presence.
Louis put his hands and Legosi’s hips and slowly began to wrap them around his back while Legosi did the same, the two mammals looked at each other in the eyes before closing them and began to kiss each other.
Legosi at first was gentle with Louis as he didn’t want to accidently bite his nose off while Louis was trying everything in his power to French kiss him as hard as possible.
The red deer could feel Legosi’s teeth with his tongue and was enjoying how they felt when touching them while Legosi could feel the flat normal herbivore teeth with his tongue, the two mammals were having a grand time kissing each other and it seemed to go one forever.
After what seemed to be hours of making out the two mammals stopped and were both surprised with the make out they just had.
“Legosi… that was… good…”
“Yeah, I mean I never thought that my first kiss would be with a herbivore who’s a boy”
“I could say the same thing about myself”
The two mammals looked at each other and smiled out of sheer awkwardness of what had just happened, Legosi looked at Louis’s clock hanging from the wall and saw that it was getting late and that he should’ve been back at his dorm by now.
“Oh crap!!! I should’ve have been back at the dorm a few minutes ago!!, sorry louis but I have to go right now but you should be comfortable right now” said Legosi
“Yes my ankle feels a little bit better from your massage, so maybe you might come over again when you’re free and try it again this time, maybe next time I could do it to your feet” said Louis
Legosi smiled as he got up from Louis’s bed and proceeded to walk down towards the front door but not without turning off the light for Louis, as he was leaving however Louis called out to him.
“Legosi!!!, if you want we can hang out together and maybe hang out with your other friends as well” said Louis.
Legosi smiled at that idea.
“Yeah, I can do that”.
Legosi smiled at Louis while the red deer smiled back at him both hinting that their relationship together had just began.
