Trying to emulate my traditional pencil look and process with photoshop. Ended up taking longer than a normal drawing but I'm still trying to get a feel for it.

Lugia is actually one of my favorite legendaries, I loved pokemon 2000 as a kid. My grampa drew one for me as a kid cause I got upset that I couldn't draw it myself. So I've definitely got some fond memories with it!

I was gonna give it smooth small penguin like feathers and flipper wings, but I gave in and gave it regular feathers with webbed dragon like wings. Might do a more penguin like lugia some other time.
