I feel bad for spitting out so much low quality art lately, hope those don't hurt your eyesss. But it keeps me working, which is a good thing. =]

The stem wouldn't go into her if that's what you're worried about. Looking at the pumpkin, the stem would protrude just in front of her. Honestly, it would probably look a little more dirty if the stem were really visible. It would be bumping into her.
Ah... That aside, I think this is pretty good. My own work lately isn't nearly as good quality by vast comparison.
