Poor Bau really has let his emotions get the better of him, and all the world around him seems to be disappearing fast. Not only that Gab is only there because of Bau. He's the other unintentional victim in all this. Now they're both alone. I really want to burst in and give them a hug. I hope someone is able to help them out💔💔💔💔
i hate to be "that guy" but, yeah — did the dobie's wife not see that her dobie, not only, did not initiate the kiss;
but that he also very much did not want to be kissed;
and had very-decidedly broken off the contact in short order once he did realize what was happening?
alternatively: wifey mighta—in a "yaoi" sorta way—been disappointed her dobie had, so physically, rejected bau's (drunken) advance

or is it rather: she had expected the dobie to also throw some punches or to break a chair over bau's head or summut?¹
¹ i am sorry, but cross doesn't ever include character names in his keyword tags..
..and i can't keep track of what every minor / side character is named so, i gotta keep referring to the doberman as "the dobie"
and i won't be able to go back and edit this comment to make the amendment, by the time / if i ever do encounter this information
