It was sufficant. the cob added sweetness to the smoke for the first few uses. i reccommend making one to those who like pipe Tobacco's

LOVE THIS!!! I have been getting into carving pipes recently too :) Corn is a cool idea, may be next on my list

for corn i hollowed the core while it was warn from cooking. than picked the hole out with manual tools (tooth pick, nail etc)

Oh neat! Thanks for the info and tips :) I'll try it some time! I've been whittling sticks and branches with a knife and plane, then drilling holes through them and boiling them to shape them. I need something simpler xP
