You mean Hope. Blue Lanterns are powered by Hope, which is needed 24/7. If you ever lose your hope, for even a second, your ring will leave you. Unless they've changed it, which is entirely possible.

Oh I know. I did mean Willpower though, as without it... Or a nearby Green Lantern... The Blue Rings only provide Flight and a personal Force Field (Along with a Translation Matrix).

It's why whenever one is nearby to a Green Lantern... It over charges the ring to 255.5% and keeps it at that power level. It's a Symbiotic relationship where one benefits the other, and vice versa.

You're forgetting the minimal strength enhancement, but even with willpower of their own, they need a nearby Green Lantern power ring, an active one, to function beyond that.

I was just putting that there because you said they needed willpower or a Green Lantern, and I wanted to say that their own willpower has nothing to do with it. They need a Green Lantern to function above a minimal capacity. True, their own will determines many things, but that's only in the presence of an active Green Lantern.

I don't know, I mean we're all capable of feeling every emotion in the spectrum, so I don't know which ring he'd wear for that. It's not unheard of for a Lantern to wear more than one ring at a time, it's just exceedingly rare. But yeah, excitable temperament would fit the bill.
