Most of us did anyway. 2021 was an odd mix, good things happened for sure but with a twist.

The Gencon gaming convention happened in 2021 after being cancelled for 2020, it was a weekend of fun and nerdy normality, I bought most of my Christmas gifts for people there.

In 2021 I went on my first and second ever cruise. Being from Florida all my friends had boats so we would never pay to go on one, then a friend found a crazy deal 4 nights to Jamaica and Bimini on Carnival for $350 inclusive and another 4 to Cozumel on Celebrity for $50 less. It was cheaper than staying in a nice hotel and was my very first vacation to Florida since leaving it in the spring of 2020.

One dog of mine was found to have a cancer in his tear duct, it was caught as early as it could have been and he went through successful surgery and Bruce Almighty is back in action, that I saw it so soon in his eye saved him, this was a quick growing cancer so there is something to be said for working at home, you see more of your pets.

While my stocks soared on the hopes of an end to the pandemic, delta barged in like someone hours after an argument was over to say "And another thing!". And the stock market fell and came roaring back again to new highs, so weird.

I also made some good new friends here and with the help of a few of them did some lovely art collaborations.

Let's knock out 2022 and get back to some semblance of normality.
