She lives in a world with low natural magic potential, but makes up for it in strong magitech. They still have castles, but they also have tech as well. most things can use ambient magic to power up, but the more power it needs the more you'll need to add your own into it.
The kobold, Lana Dragonhorn is a very talented sniper with a lot of innate magic that makes her a fantastic canidate for advanced Magitech Heavy Rifles. She used to be a field sniper before she started getting too big and plump, and now uses her skills as a lookout to relax, though she still practices her rifle skills plenty. She loves food and drink, and likes passing the time with a good book and fresh tea when she isn't spending time with her close friends.
While Lana tries her best to be very laid back, kind, and undertsanding, she's also extremely self confident and proud of herself. She has a hard time swallowing it sometimes, and it shows best in relation to her weight. While Lana wasn't upset with her weight gain at first, although a tad embarrassed she was beginning to let herself go, she found herself more outraged when some people she worked with on occasion began to mock her for her noticeable gain. After challenging anyone who did so to a marksman contest and winning, Lana began to gloat towards them in revenge for implying her weight could mean she was any less effective. Indeed, after that Lana began eating more as she started betting those that mocked her (usually strangers) to a contest of skill with her reward being a large meal if she won. This of course ended up in her putting on even more weight, and she embraced it as her pride helped her mindset towards her growing gut become very positive to the point where she started wearing her outfits to show off just how large a belly she had grown! After all, if anyone had a problem with it they could try proving their point in a marksman contest...her rumbling tummy could always use more food. This, combined with her ability to overcharge her rifle shots, earned her the nickname "Heavy Shot".
With her friends Lana is able to be much more relaxed and laid back, enjoying talking, tea time, and even small contests in the group. Though even when trying not to bee too much, she's still very competitive and full of herself, often going the extra mile to show off while not being obnoxious about it.
