Peely was correct.
He in fact woken Cobb up by that mistake.
He couldn’t have enough time to hide, because Cobb just immediately went downstairs to see what caused the THUMP.
Cobb saw that somebody was attempting to eat a Midnight Snack, which failed miserably.
But, when Peely was trying to hide, he had no control of his bladder because of his fear, and he is now peeing in his diaper. That actually gave away his hiding spot, oops!
Cobb immediately heard that and looked to the left. And saw the Fruitcake thief (or the Midnight Snack Failer).
Cobb rushed to him, but Peely attempted to run away.
But that failed, miserably >_<
He held Peely, because you know by now. Cobb has strong muscles, but no strong feelings.
Peely tried to let go of him, but had no choice. Because he could get squished.
Cobb tried to be careful, carrying Peely back up the stairs, into his bed (or crib).
Cobb is way too tired to deal with him now, so when he placed Peely in his crib (sulking and cross), he waddled back to his own crib. Peacefully, gone to sleep.
