Redblur's next stop is the home to "the fastest thing alive", Sonic the Hedgehog. Within one minute of being in the Green Hill Zone, the Blue Blur and his best friend and sidekick, Miles "Tails" Prower, found Redblur struggling to get across a loop. After realizing that this kid is way too slow, Sonic and Tails have to train Redblur to increase his speed. In short, most of Redblur's training involves running on a treadmill, jumping on springs, and moving around loops without feeling sick. Another three months in, and Redblur training was complete. On to the next world.

Moves Learn
Spin Dash: Taught by Sonic & Tails, Redblur can curl into a moving offensive ball along the ground to dash through obstacles and enemies. The move can charge up energy before taking off at a high speed, making it a Spin Dash. Or while in the air, he can strike a nearby enemy with a Homing Attack.
Boost: Taught by Sonic, Redblur surrounds himself in a projectile-shaped energy shield and runs forward at speeds beyond the sound barrier. Thus turning him into a highly destructive projectile moving at supersonic speeds.
Tail Swipe: Taught by Tails, Redblur performs a 360-degree spin, where he lashes out with his tail to damage any enemies in front of him. He can also use his tail to hover in the air... for 8 seconds (Redblur needs two tails to fly, not one).
