((Ioneack wasn't originally part of the Arolinac Pokedex. It originally didn't have a Pikachu clone at all. I decided to add one in keeping with this now traditional aspect of new Pokemon games. I chose the chipmunk as the inspirational rodent as they live all over the Carolinas. However, I decided that mine would be a two stage line, rather than the traditional single form. I did this because 1.) I don't understand why the Pikachu clones don't have an evolved form just like Pikachu does, and 2.) Ioneack is a rival of Sqwirley who DOES evolve, so I wanted Ioneack to be on an even field with his rival.

Though not a version exclusive, Ioneack is much more common in Pokemon West and rare to find in Pokemon East.))
