Trying to figure out my style for a comic/graphic novel idea. I want the story to be a romance/horror story with a romance between two consenting Adults/young adults.
Does she look like she could pass as an 18 year old? (Please be brutally honest and assume her age as well as give some feedback on her character design).
In stories, is it appropriate to have a romance or attraction between characters that are 16-17 with a 20-30 something year old? In a way, I want to be intentional with the creepy factor, but not too creepy, just an implications and nod to the previous iterations. Your thoughts and opinions on this will be appreciated (yes, I know storytelling involving consent in Japan is weird, but from a western perspective what’s okay, what’s intentional, and what is problematic that we should strongly discourage)
Definitely would like to make to order T-shirt designs.

Oh gosh! Thank you so much for your input TeaWitch! As someone who worked in the educational field this is something that I stress out about all the time when making content for people who are potentially minors. Our cultures are animated and shaped by the media that we grow up with, so in a way, thinking about these things is not only stressful but terrifying!
First glance, she looks younger than 18. It might be fine if her age is clearly stated in the beginning of the story. Underage relationships disturb me greatly but back in the days of yore, girls were often married off once they were physically capable of pregnancy (12-16yrs). I would consider how to craft and "show" your story's culture in a concise but clear manner.
