Suzie encounters the incredible but haunting forest spirit from Princess Mononoke.
Princess Mononoke was an anime I saw in my teens, and a lot of imagery from it stuck in my head because it's unique, beautiful, and terrifying. The animation is incredible, as it generally is with Studio Ghibli. The story has a very strong man vs nature theme to it and it takes place in an interesting world that's either a fantastical version of the past, or another world. It's been a long time since I've seen it so I don't entirely remember the whole plot, just bits and pieces, but I remember being obsessed with it for a while when I was younger. Also the music is really good too. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.
