                    Awesomeness for the win!
Believe it or else, all of the characters seen here were drawn completely freehand (including, obviously, my own original characters). I take great pride in drawing a character from observation rather than through tracing or straightforward copying.
As for the meme itself, I've obviously broken several rules, such as using more than one character from a specific show or media, using original characters, or characters I've drawn fanart of, but it doesn't really matter to me. I just did this for fun, and as you can see, its of my own format, albeit a little shoddily done.
I also plan on going even further with this in the future, trying to add as many characters as possible. I don't plan on flooding DA with a lot of these. I wanna make the cleanest, most extensive character meme I can on DA. So look out for it in the future :3 NOW! ON WITH THE LIST!!!!!!
The first row plays on my love for superheroes! The brave supermen and superwomen of comic book lore who have earned a special place in my heart lie in this row and there are also a few of my own creations here as well! So up, up, and away!!!
*1.) Spider-Man (Marvel Comics) - The first comic book superhero I ever became a fan of, thanks to one of my best friends. Spider-Man has always been my first and greatest influence in terms of superheroes. His wise-cracking humor, amazing acrobatic agility, and his ever-lasting lesson of great power and great responsibility is perhaps my greatest ideal of heroism. I was also extremely upset that the Spectacular Spider-Man, one of the greatest media adaptations of the web-slinger, was cancelled after only two seasons
*2.) Superman (DC Comics) - Although not my absolute favorite superhero, I seriously think Superman is an awesome superhero and owe a lot to him for his originating the modern-day superhero. I also enjoyed him in the DC Animated Universe. He is depicted very well and taken more seriously.
*3.) Batman (DC Comics) - For the longest time after I got into superheroes, I had to say, I DESPISED Batman. I regret that now IMMENSELY. Batman is one of the most profound and deep characters in comic book history and I can't get enough of him nowadays. He has one of the best rogues galleries, a sweet ass design, and his origin story is one that constantly sticks in my mind as one of the most simplest but epic origins for a superhero. Also, he's had an AMAZING run in animation, especially starting with the DC Animated Universe's critically-acclaimed Batman: the Animated Series, going all the way up through Justice League Unlimited, The Batman, and, the newest adaptation and my new fave, Batman: The Brave and the Bold!
*4.) Wonder Woman (DC Comics) - Although it depends on the continuity, I think Wonder Woman is one of the coolest female superheroes. My favorite version is definitely the Justice League cartoon's version. Sexy and powerful as hell <3!!!
*5.) The Zoologist (Maximum Universe/Original character) - My greatest superhero creation, the Zoologist is the superhero I would most want to be. I love animals, so he is the master of the animal kingdom, and I always dreamt about being able to become any animal I wished, so that is the Zoologist's main power. He's just cool and what I wish I could be like, lol.
*6.) Specia (Maximum Universe/Original character) - The Zoologist's sexy shapeshifting wife, Specia was created not long after the Zoologist, mostly as a love interest but also as an equally powerful partner. I love drawing Specia and the Zoologist (mostly because I'm a romantic at heart and like to draw romantic pictures ^_^) .
*7.) Heatstroke the Flaming Fighter (Maximum Universe/Original character) - One of my many characters that I have created over the years, Heatstroke was my outlet for my "fire fetish" for a time. Basically, he's me, as a pyrokinetic martial artist, due to me studying Isshinryu Karate-do for four years and for a time I was obsessed with pyrokinetics, such as the Human Torch & Pyro.
*8.) Animal Man (DC Comics/Vertigo) - The Animal Man is one of my many inspirations for my main character, the Zoologist. A happy-go-lucky hero with a kickass power (the ability to mimic the powers and abilities of any animal) and an awesome, though admittedly generic, name, Animal Man was what I also originally called the Zoologist, due to a lack of creative originality, lol. He was merely the first of many inspirations to help me mold the Zoologist into what he is today, and for that, I thank him
*9.) Beast Boy (DC Comics' Teen Titans) - An even bigger inspiration for my creation of the Zoologist was Teen Titan's Beast Boy, who had the very power I had always dreamed of having, the ability to transform himself into any animal he can imagine. Of course, as a fledgeling comic book fan at the time, I had no idea he even existed until the Teen Titans cartoon came out in 2003. Although I've outgrown that overly-anime based cartoon, I still love that young changeling and still envy him to this day!
*10.) Beast (Marvel Comics' X-Men) - Finally, the Beast, by far the best X-Men, hell, the best mutant in general, helped me mold the Zoologist into the character he is today. His dichotomy of bestial brute and genius-level scientist was a great concept and made me think, "My character should be a genius with a berzerker problem, like a combination of the Beast and Wolverine!". And thus, it was only a matter of time until the Zoologist finally came into existence, all thanks to the bouncing blue Beast!
The next row features the beloved characters from the halls of Walt Disney's finest animated features, along with a wascally rabbit! Disney has been a part of my life for the longest time, as my autistic sister has influenced me many times over the years due to her love for those precious films and characters. And of course, the films themselves are a form of art in their own right.
*11.) Mickey Mouse (Walt Disney) - Leading the Disney crew, of course, is the man, or should I say MOUSE, who has upheld everything that makes America great. Watching the old Mickey Mouse cartoons on the ORIGINAL Disney Channel (before all that kiddy Hannah Montana/Jonas Brothers/High School Musical shit) were some of my most profound childhood memories. You just gotta love Mickey!
*12.) Bugs Bunny (Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes) - Okay, seriously, its Bugs Bunny. 'Nuff said! He's here among the Disney characters because he's had just as much an impact on America, and heck, the world alongside his looney pals! Plus, you gotta love Mickey and Bugs next to one another as the biggest, most famous, and by far the most popular cartoon characters around!
*13.) Jiminy Cricket (Disney's Pinocchio) - I'm not a big fan of Disney's Pinocchio, but you've gotta love Jiminy Cricket. He's the real star of the movie. With his happy demeanor, smart wit, and snazzy character design, and also his lovely voice, what's not to like? I consider him my favorite "classic" Disney character from the classic years that Walt Disney was around.
*14.) Merlin (Disney's The Sword in the Stone) - Ah, The Sword in the Stone. You could say that this was THE beginning of my dream of being able to transform into any animal, with that whole "Wizard's Duel" at the end of the movie. Just awesome. Merlin definitely won me over with his humor, character design, and his amazing wit and intellect! Pretty cool for an old dude!
*15.) Basil of Baker Street (Disney's Adventures of the Great Mouse Detective) - I didn't really watch the Great Mouse Detective as a kid, although I did watch it in recent years when we got it for my autistic sister. I didn't truly fall in love with the movie until very recently this past year during my year in animation when I decided to watch it again. Basil is the epitome of the Disney hero, and although Jack and the Genie top him as my favorite Disney characters, Basil is definitely my favorite Disney protagonist
*16.) Lumiere (Disney's Beauty & the Beast) - I love Lumiere. He's such a suave candlestick, and he also increased my interest in fire characters for a time, lol. He's definitely one of the many things that helped make Beauty and the Beast, heck the whole Disney Renaissance great!
*17.) The Genie (Disney's Aladdin) - The Genie is by far my favorite mainstream Disney character from feature films (I don't think Jack is really considered part of Disney's mainstream continuity, unfortunately ). Disney created a bona-fide god when they created their version of the Genie from Aladdin. Robin William's incredible voice talent, combined with the Genie's infinite might, yet hilarious trickster comedy made for a character that totally stole every scene he was in.
*18.) Jack Skellington (Disney/Touchstone Pictures\'s The Nightmare Before Christmas) - My favorite character from my favorite "Disney" movie, Jack Skellington is the epitome of awesomely creepy yet cool character design! I know people sometimes don't consider him a Disney character, but I like to think of him as one, especially since he's been included in a few Disney books, as well as the acclaimed Kingdom Hearts series.
*19). Mushu (Disney's Mulan) - Mushu is the most awesome dragon ever XD. Being voiced by Eddie Murphy also increases his awesomeness ten-fold! Plus, I love his character design. He's tiny and sarcastic and witty, everything that you wouldn't expect a dragon to be, lol.
*20.) Kronk (Disney's The Emperor's New Groove) - Kronk IS The Emperor's New Groove, which is by far the funniest Disney movie ever made! He's so oblivious and child-like and hilarious! And the fact that he's voiced by the ever-loving Patrick Warburton only makes him even more awesome!
The third row belongs to classic and contemporary cartoon characters outside of Disney and Warner Bros. cartoons., such as Hanna-Barbera, Tex Avery, or animated feature film characters.
*21.) Yogi Bear (Hanna-Barbera) - Although a pretty limited cartoon in terms of animation, you gotta love Yogi Bear's style! I used to watch him and all the old Hanna-Barbera cartoons when they were on the ORIGINAL Cartoon Network as a kid. I'm not too thrilled with the upcoming Life-Action/CGI film, though : / I mean, c'mon, Justin Timberlake as Boo-Boo?! Gimme a break.
*22.) Tom Cat (Hanna Barbera's Tom & Jerry) - Originally I was going to have both Tom and Jerry in here, because they're both equally awesome. Unfortunately, it was REALLY difficult to draw Jerry right for being so small. So I stuck with Tom, because I always liked Tom more than Jerry anyway, being a cat lover and the owner of several cats who act and look just like him XD
*23.) Scooby-Doo (Hanna Barbera's Scooby-Doo) - I'm amazed how god-awful the original Scooby-Doo series was. It was really crappy. But as a kid, I loved it. And he's been in some cool stuff since then. You can't not love Scooby-Doo. I also had the pleasure and honor of being taught Drawing for Animation by Scott Neely, who has been one of Scooby-Doo's greatest contributors for the past ten years.
*24.) The Aardvark (The Ant & the Aardvark) - For those of you who don't recognize this character, I pity you. The Ant and the Aardvark is EXACTLY like Tom and Jerry and Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner, except this features two wise-cracking characters, a red ant and a blue aardvark. It's hilarious fun and was created by the same creators as the Pink Panther! The Aardvark was my favorite, because he sounded like Jackie Mason and a stereotypical jew and I love watching it with my dad, who watched them himself as a kid, which helps bond us together even closer XD.
*25.) Spike (Tex Avery cartoons) - Tex Avery was a big part of my childhood on Cartoon Network alongside Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera. I loved them all. My favorite character, though, was Spike the Bulldog, who was often partnered with Droopy, but also had a few standalone cartoons. He just had hilarious scenes and he was a funny character XD. My older sister (not my autistic sister) and I loved them all!
*26.) Gromit (Wallace and Gromit) - I watched Wallace and Gromit a few times when I was a kid, but didn't truly appreciate it until recently when I started taking an interest in animation. Wallace and Gromit are the coolest claymation characters EVER! And Gromit himself is the epitome of showing versus telling with his muteness. A great character and a great series that I hope never dies!
*27.) Porco Rosso (Hayao Miyazaki) - Porco Rosso is definitely my favorite Hayao Miyazaki film, and the latest one I've seen. Just the character of Porco Rosso himself blew away my expectations of him. And the fact he was voiced by Michael Keaton also won me over And as a sidenote, I don't consider Hayao Miyazaki's films anime at all. They're just too damn good to be categorized with anime. They're like Japan's version of Disney. GOD BLESS YOU MIYAZAKI AND STUDIO GHIBLI!
*28.) The Iron Giant (Warner Bros.' The Iron Giant) - I regret not watching this cult classic in theatres. It is by far one of my favorite animated films. Such a wonderful story with beautiful animation, a deep plot, and vivid characters that you want to love and, in the case of that stupid federal agent, despise. It's a real shame it didn't do as well in theatres. It truly was a wonderful film that a lot of time and effort was put into. Who doesn't love the Iron Giant?!
*29.) Woody Woodpecker (Universal Studios) - Woody Woodpecker is quite possibly the craziest classic cartoon out there. He was actually kind of a jerk in the really old cartoons. But I absolutely adore his bright colors and character design, and his crazy laugh is ridiculously awesome!
*30.) Ralph, the All-Purpose Animal (Twice Upon a Time) - For those of you who do not know this character, its no surprise. Hell, I nearly forgot this movie even existed, save for some vague memories from Cartoon Network's Cartoon Theatre. This past year, however, I found it on Youtube, and was amazed by how beautifully animated this movie was. Even more so, I was thrilled to learn that one of the main characters, Ralph, was a shape-shifter who could transform into, you guessed it, any animal! HUZZAH! I love his name, too, the "All-Purpose Animal"? My kinda character!
I simply HAD to have a whole row dedicated to the wonderful films of Pixar. Pixar has managed to impress me time and time again with each and every one of their films. They are the masters of story-telling and animation and I cannot even begin to describe my love for them.
*31.) Rex (Disney/Pixar's Toy Story) - Ah, Rex, good times. Good times. Toy Story, being the first Pixar film, heck, the first full-length completely computer-animated film EVER, has always had a special place in my heart. Oh, and just so you know, if you haven't seen Toy Story 3 yet, GO SEE IT. You will not be disappointed! Anywho, Rex was my favorite because, you guessed it, he's a toy T-rex! And did you know I owned my very own Rex for quite some time?! I miss that lil' guy
*32.) Hopper (Disney/Pixar's A Bug's Life) - Hopper is perhaps one of the cruelest villains in Disney lore. Not because he kills or because he's a punk, but because he subjugates an entire race on the sole fact that he knows they outnumber his race a hundred to one and that the only to keep them in line is to bully them and frighten them! It's ridiculous awesomeness, and Kevin Spacey's acting is phenomenal!
*33.) James P. "Sulley" Sullivan (Disney/Pixar's Monsters. Inc) - Awwwww, Sulley is the sweetest monster ever! I just wanna give him a big ol' hug! Btw, can't wait for Monster's Inc. 2! SO EXCITED XD! Anyway, Sulley is such a cool character, beautifully voiced by John Goodman, and such a wonderful personality. Even though he's one of the top scarers in Monstropolis, he's the nicest dude EVER! Love him!
*34.) Crush (Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo) - SURF'S UP, DUDE! Crush is so laid-back and sweet! Love his character, a surfer turtle just makes a movie and is such a good idea! Finding Nemo was one of those films when I first saw trailers for it and was like, "A movie about fish? Fail". Man was I wrong to doubt Pixar. Only they could make a movie about fish work so well, unlike Dreamworks and their crappy Shark Tale, which blew chunks : /
*35.) Elasti-Girl/Mrs. Incredible (Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles) - Of course, the Incredibles is my favorite Pixar movie, given its about SUPERHEROES! Such a well done film that does what most other superhero films fail epically at, like Sky High. I liked Elasti-Girl the best because, well, for one thing, she's hot! Second, I like her power to stretch. Such an under-rated ability.
*36.) Lightning McQueen (Disney/Pixar's Cars) - Cars was actually the first film I ever saw twice in theaters. I loved the story, like all Pixar films, of course. I had to have Lightning, because, well for one, he looks like a Corvette, which is my favorite car, and second, he's red! Okay, those are pretty terrible reasons to choose a car, but I also like his personality and how much his character develops from the beginning of the film to the end. A hot shot rookie who becomes a more meaningful sportscar by the end of the film.
*37.) Remy the Rat (Disney/Pixar's Ratatouille) - Okay, I'll admit, I did NOT like Ratatouille when I first saw it. It just seemed a little unappealing compared to some of Pixar's other classics. However, after watching it a few more times, I have come to seriously appreciate what the movie was trying to do and absolutely LOVE IT now Since I have come to love this movie, I can officially say there is not one Pixar film that I do not like! Anyway, I liked Remy because I can relate to him trying to achieve his dream of becoming something great, even when the world's against him.
*38.) Wall-E (Disney/Pixar's Wall-E) - Wow. Wall-E was definitely an unexpected surprise of a movie. Just a well told story and such a cute and heroic character, Wall-E is perhaps the most loveable robot ever (alongside the Iron Giant and Prowl, of course ). I also love that nearly the entire movie is told without words, a very hard thing to do!
*39.) Carl Fredericksen (Disney/Pixar's Up) - What a wonderful film about dreams, love, and the power to go wherever your heart's content. Carl Fredericksen is such a sad character in the beginning, only to have an amazing adventure that ends with him finding happiness and purpose. I also adore Edward Asner, the man behind Carl's voice, who has been in many animated features that I adore!
*40.) Gingy the Gingerbread Man (Dreamwork's Shrek) - Who doesn't love Shrek? Who doesn't love Gingy? Of course, the whole cast of characters in Shrek is awesome, but Gingy cracks me up the most. I love his voice and his cuteness, lol. Gingy is in the Pixar row because Shrek is, well, the only real movie that can compete with some of Pixar's films. Of course, even now, his newer films aren't as good as the original, which was and still is amazing, unlike Pixar's Toy Story, which was able to keep a consistent trilogy that was simply amazing.
The next row features video game characters, video games which represent a substantial portion of my life. Of course, practically all of them are Nintendo characters, which is what I've had my entire life, from the NES all the way up to the Wii! I also have a few additional computer-animated characters in this row who, while not as substantial as Pixar's fine library of characters, hold a place in my heart regardless!
*41.) Mario (Nintendo's Super Mario Bros.) - My first and favorite foray into the world of video games, Mario has been a constant on my Nintendo Consoles, ever since playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on my grandparents Nintendo Entertainment System. Have I mentioned I'm DESPERATE FOR SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2?!?!
*42.) Espio the Chameleon (Sega\'s Sonic the Hedgehog) - Although I was a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog games, I didn't really dig the characters until Sonic Heroes when I met the epicness that is Espio the Chameleon of Team Chaotix! C'mon, with that badass deep voice, ability to turn invisible, and ninja speed and shurikens, what's not to like?
*43.) Banjo-Kazooie (Rare) - I have to say, although Mario is my first and favorite video game series, the Banjo-Kazooie series was definitely the one I spent the most hours playing on the good ol' N64! And top even Mario more, there is not ONE SINGLE BIT OF MUSIC IN BANJO-KAZOOIE OR TOOIE THAT I DO NOT LIKE!!!
*44.) Metagross (Nintendo\'s Pokemon series) - While I despise the anime (now anyways) and the poor innovation in recent games, Pokemon has always had a place in my heart, and while the original will ALWAYS be the best, I grew quite fond of the giant metallic supercomputer spider that is Metagross. He just has a badass design, awesome stats, and I love his "abilities".
*45.) Princess Midna (Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) - What a freaking hottie. To think that this lovely princess from another dimension was the imp that was so popularly displayed on Twilight Princess. When I learned that Midna was actually a princess and a hottie, my jaw dropped and I fell in love with my favorite video game damsel. She's so sexy and hot!
*46.) Jam (Nintendo's Snowboard Kids series) - For those of you who had Nintendo 64, you may or may not have played the first or second Snowboard Kids games. I fortunately have, at least the second one, and I absolutely LOVED IT. By far my favorite racing game after the Mario Kart series, Snowboard Kids 2 was a fun but forgotten game title that NEEDS to be put on Virtual Console. Jam happened to be my favorite character to play as. He was just badass!
*47.) Voltar (Cartoon Network's League Of Super Evil) - I really thought this show would suck. Man I was wrong. Its so well animated and the characters are just so ridiculous. Voltar's design is definitely my favorite. I absolutely love the ridiculous humor in it.
*48.) Fender (Blue Sky Studios' Robots) - Once again, Robin Williams brings a character to life BEAUTIFULLY. Fender is so ridiculous and falling apart and rusting. But he's a wonderful robot! And also, he matches my qualification for being red, my favorite color!
*49.) B.O.B. (Benzoate Ostylezene Bicarbonate) (Dreamwork's Monsters vs. Aliens) - B.O.B. is a pretty awesome monster. Virtually indestructible, able to change shape, but completely brain dead! And the fact that he's voiced by Seth Rogen only makes him cooler
*50.) Flint Lockwood (Sony Pictures' Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) - Oh, how I absolutely ADORE Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. It was ridiculous from the opening credits to the end credits. And Flint Lockwood's complete inability to fit into societal norms is both something I can relate to and laugh at since I'm not as inept as him XP
The next row features characters from my childhood, characters who I still love to this day, even though I'm turning 21 next year. Blame it on Asperger's syndrome if you will, I really don't care. I love them regardless and I will never forget them. I only hope that my kids can grow up with them when they come of age.
*51.) Thomas the Tank Engine (Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends) - Okay, seriously, how could I not put my first and oldest "friend" in here, at the front of the pack? Thomas has been with me for the longest time and I have never had more fun that sitting with my autistic twin sister and watching him and his friends have adventures. I know people find him creepy, but that doesn't change my opinion of him and yes I still love him to this day and still watch him and always will!
*52.) The Polar Express Conductor (The Polar Express) - Okay, in all seriousness and literally, the Polar Express has got to be my all-time, top favorite, ultimate movie, above all others, animated, comedy, superhero film, etc.. It has everything I could ever want in a movie and, I swear to you all, it has me tearing up at the end every time because of childhood memories. The conductor, played extraordinarily by Tom Hanks, is definitely my favorite character in the movie
*53.) Tillie (The Little Engine That Could) - This was one of the films my sisters and I watched as a kid that I couldn't find for the longest time. But it stuck in my head constantly. I recently found it, though, and couldn't be happier. It was a great cartoon for kids that proved that you can do anything if you try.
*54.) Kermit the Frog (Jim Henson\'s Muppets) - My elementary school art teacher definitely influenced me in this aspect. He loved the Muppets, and so did me and my dad. And Kermit always brought a smile to my face, as did Fozzy Bear and Gonzo. I still think the Muppet Movie is fantastic, and me, my sister, and two of our friends used to watch Muppets from Space ALL THE TIME XD.
*55.) Bert (Jim Henson's Sesame Street) - Awwwww, Sesame Street! One of the few things to come out of the 70s that still kicks butt today, thanks to that fabulous Jim Henson! (R.I.P) I loved Bert the best with Ernie because he was so grumpy and boring XD.
*56.) The Cat in the Hat (Dr. Seuss) - I know, for a fact, that The Cat in the Hat was one of the reasons kids were able to read at a young age. I know he helped me to read. I also always loved his design. He's got the coolest, hippest hat ever! And this is from the 1950's, no less!
*57.) Lampy (Disney's The Brave Little Toaster) - For those of you who remember the Disney gem that is The Brave Little Toaster, my sisters and I used to watch the original all the time as kids. For some reason, Lampy was always my favorite. He was so funny but he was also heroic, and he just had a neat design. Plus I liked his voice!
*58.) Alvin (Alvin & The Chipmunks) - Sure, they're annoying little bastards. But you gotta love 'em! Alvin's my favorite because he wears red all the time, and he's the main reason for the Chipmunks constantly getting into trouble, which is awesome!
*59.) B-rex (Original character) - My "fursona" or "furry". I got into furries a little bit these past two years at my school, thanks to my friends CanineTeeth666 and ulo-ah. So I created myself as a Tyrannosaurus rex! Same person, anthropomorphic T-rex body! I put him in my childhood classics, because I loved dinosaurs growing up, Tyrannosaurus rex being my favorite! I always wanted to be a big ferocious T-rex, and would, embarrassing as it might seem, go around acting like one XD.
*60.) Petrie (Don Bluth's The Land Before Time series) - Petrie is so cute! I love his character development from a young Pterodactyl that couldn't fly to a funny and humorous, yet adept flier of the skies! Also, he's been voiced by Jeff Bennett since the second Land Before Time (which also happens to be my favorite!), so win!
The next row features some of the craziest and newest cartoons that have cracked me up growing up and even today still do. A lot of them were from the old Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network and are original to them alone. Man do I miss the old days……
*61.) Patrick Star (Nickelodeon\'s Spongebob Squarepants) - Patrick cracks me up so bad XD. Actually, I like pretty much everyone in Spongebob (except Sandy. She needs to go back to Texas ) I can honestly say, since Spongebob is one of the few Nicktoons still running on Nickelodeon today that still kicks ass. Man do I hate Nickelodeon today, though. Nothing good on EXCEPT SPONGEBOB. Its surprising that the new episodes they still run are still hilarious!
*62.) Catdog (Nickeleodeon\'s Catdog) - There were many great Nicktoons I grew up watching. But I think my favorite, other than Spongebob, would have to have been Catdog. I watched that the most as a kid on Nickelodeon and I just loved the characters. But I always did feel bad for Catdog for not being able to fit in I guess I could relate to them in that way when I was younger.
*63.) Ed (Cartoon Network's Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy) - Oh, how many times I've busted up laughing because of Ed's random idiocy. I actually envy Ed in a way. He doesn't give a shit about what people say about him because he's so carefree and oblivious. And even though he's probably the stinkest person in town, I can't help but want to give him a big old hug, lol.
*64.) Dexter (Cartoon Network's Dexter's Laboratory) - Who didn't grow up in the 1990s and watch Dexter's Laboratory? He was the first of the new generation of awesome cartoons crawling out of Cartoon Network. I liked the style of the series and Dexter's crazy inventions and adventures.
*65.) Johnny Bravo (Cartoon Network's Johnny Bravo) - I liked Johnny Bravo as a kid. I liked it even better when they updated the series and made Johnny REALLY STUPID. Because he was HILARIOUS XD.
*66.) Courage the Cowardly Dog (Cartoon Network's Courage the Cowardly Dog) - What a cool cartoon. I love Courage the Cowardly Dog. It's such a cute yet disturbing show that can really frighten you at times, yet crack you up. It can also be pretty dramatic too! And I love Courage's devotion to Muriel and even Eustace (even though Eustace is a rat bastard!) He's just a heroic dog that's braver than he thinks!
*67.) Wilt (Cartoon Network's Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends) - Awwwww, I miss Fosters' Such an original and humorous show. I absolutely love Craig McCracken's character design. Just a neat show. Obviously Wilt is my favorite because he's just a nice guy! Plus he's my favorite color, so that helps!
*68.) Gazpacho (Cartoon Network's Chowder) - At first, I thought Chowder and these other new cartoons on Cartoon Network would be stupid. But I've grown attached to their craziness, better than those stupid reality cartoons like Total Drama Island and 6teen shit. I love Chowder and its constant breaking of the fourth wall. And Gazpacho cracks me up the most, along with Schnitzel and Mung Dall. I also like that he's voiced by Dana Snyder (Master Shake and the Alchemist) XD.
*69.) Captain K'Nuckles (Cartoon Network's The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack) - Even more than Chowder, Flapjack is just ridiculous. I just love the randomness and the creepy moments its somehow able to slip past the censors. And Captain K'Nuckles is such a douche, its great XD
*70.) Beetlejuice (Tim Burton & Nickelodeon's Beetlejuice - The Animated Series) - BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! BEETLEJUICE!! You know you're in for some mayhem and chaos when you chant his name three times! I love his character design and his voice, and also enjoy the fact that he was played by Michael Keaton in the live-action movie. Believe it or not, when I was younger, I was afraid of Goosebumps of all things, but not of this, lol. This just cracked me up. And I absolutely LOVE his theme music! I also did not realize that the cartoon was based off the live-action movie, not vice-versa, lol. I was dense XD.
The eighth row belongs to action-packed characters or characters who are in shows that have action in them. This row is one of the few on here to have life-action characters, which I drew horribly XP Anywho, here's some action-packed awesomeness for ya!
*71.) Aayla Secura (Star Wars) - I'm seriously not a huge Star Wars fan. Seriously. But Aayla Secura is so GOD DAMN HOT. Let's face it, I have a thing for blue chicks. Don't ask why. I just think they're sexy and cool, lol. I think I might make a silly fan pic of her and Grievous of all people being romantic, since they're my two most favorite characters in all of Star Wars.
*72.) Prowl (Cartoon Network\'s Transformers Animated) - When I first saw Transformers Animated, I wasn't too sure it would stick. But Prowl won me over instantly. He's got a wicked design, an awesome voice actor (thank you Jeff Bennett!), and his story is sweet. And if fans of the Zoologist fail to notice any coincidental similarities between him and Prowl, just remember that the Zoologist came first!
*73.) Neytiri (James Cameron\'s Avatar) - I know people criticized Avatar's story, and I agree that it was just another Pocahontas/Ferngully/Dances with Wolves story with aliens, but you gotta give James Cameron props for bringing Pandora to life. And not to mention Neytiri....... jeezus is she sexy. Like Aayla Secura, blue-skinned chicks turn me on for some reason. *Ahem*, uh let's keep moving, shall we?
*74.) Indiana Jones (Steven Spielburg's & George Lucas' Indiana Jones series) - This is one of the few live-action characters I have on here, lol. And yes, I know, I sucked at drawing him DX Ah well : / Anywho, I love Indiana Jones. He's such a badass character that I even think could take on Batman XD.
*75.) Blue Beetle (DC Comics) - Although I had heard of this "Jaime Reyes" Blue Beetle, I didn't bother researching him until that crazy awesome cartoon, Batman: The Brave and the Bold came out during my first year of college. I did not expect that cartoon to be so awesome, nor did I suspect its first guest star, a young teenager with a scarab armor to be so badass. Blue Beetle has the coolest armor in comics, imo, and his weapons and gadgets are ridiculously awesome!
*76.) Bradley "Brad" Carbunkle (Nickelodeon's My Life as a Teenage Robot) - I loved My Life as a Teenage Robot's whole style, and Brad was definitely my favorite character (and he has my name! ) He's just a funny normal guy who happens to be friends with a hot robot girl! How cool is that!? He's here because, despite being a comic relief supporting character, he's helped Jenny/XJ-9 out A LOT!
*77.) Tohru (Kids WB's Jackie Chan Adventures) - I REALLY enjoyed Jackie Chan Adventures as a kid. I didn't really get into it, though, until Tohru became a good guy. The giant sumo wrestler henchman of Valmont quickly became my favorite character after he became one of the sweetest good guys ever! It's amazing he wanted to kill Jackie and Jade several times in the first season. He's just too nice! And I love it!
*78.) Numbah One (Cartoon Network's Codename: Kids Next Door) - What a clever show for kids about kids fighting adult tyranny! I used to not like it because of Numbah Five, who annoyed me with her everywoman character type where she could do everything right and never mess up, which was boring, plus she was kind of a bitch : / But Numbah One was awesome, and I like his English accent and character design
*79.) Hoss Delgado (Cartoon Network's The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy) - Ah, gotta love Hoss Delgado. He's all kinds of testosterone and ridiculousness. Also, he's voiced by Diedrich Bader, the voice behind the Batman of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, so he's officially awesome!
*80.) Freakazoid! (Kids' WB/Cartoon Network's Freakazoid!) - To be honest, I liked Freakazoid! even before I liked superheroes! He was just so GOD DAMN FUNNY XD. I actually own all the episodes now and watch them occasionally, still cracking up, and now, as a superhero aficionado, I can get the jokes even better! I put him here, instead of the crazy new cartoon character row, because he was a pretty damn good superhero, despite his lunacies, plus, there's an even crazier character that belongs there!
The second-to-last row belongs to the villains that make everything so much more menacing and just add to great stories!
*81.) The Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, & Venom (Marvel Comics' Spider-Man) - These three costumed criminals are my favorite out of Spider-Man's rogue gallery. Although I have plenty of other favorites, these are definitely the most prominently known and fierce archenemies of the webbed!
- The Green Goblin: This megalomaniacal monster of a man has caused more damage to the Spectacular Spider-Man than any other villain, even more than Doc Ock or Venom! He's managed to haunt Spider-Man, even after his supposed death. And to compound matters, he recently managed to take control over the United State's entire national security and turn the superhero community's world upside down!
- Doctor Octopus: I feel so bad for Doctor Octopus. He's such an underused character nowadays, yet he's one of the most deadly of Spider-Man's archenemies. His powers are so original and awesome. Stan Lee was a genius when coming up with him. I just hope they don't kill him off. The way he's been appearing lately in the most recent comics, it looks like he might die. That'd be a shame. I'm sure they'd find a way to bring him back, but they need to keep him. He's too cool to let die.
- Venom: Although I'll admit, Venom is a little over-used and even sometimes a bit ridiculous (and not in a good way), he's still one of the most dynamic villains in Spider-Man's rogue gallery. The idea of a twisted mirror image of Spider-Man, who knows his secret identity and is invisible to his Spider-Sense, combined with a ferociously dark appearance makes for one of Spider-Man's most frightening adversaries. I actually prefer the Mac Gargan Venom now over Eddie Brock's, especially because he can create a Scorpion tail, which is awesome!
*82.) Lex Luthor, Metallo, & Bizarro (DC Comics' Superman) - This one was pretty easy to figure out. I'll admit, I've never been a huge Superman fan, but since I've gotten the entire Superman: The Animated Series, I've grown attached to a lot of the characters. There are plenty I could've chosen, but I chose these guys, because they're awesome!
-Lex Luthor: I have to say, Lex Luthor is the crappiest archenemy ever IN SOME CONTINUITIES, but in the DC Animated Universe and recent comics, he's amazing. Beautifully portrayed by Clancy Brown, the idea of a completely mortal man who can't be touched, even by a godlike alien, is intriguing and makes for some interesting stories.
-Metallo: I remember before I was into superheroes, I watched at least one episode of the Superman animated series, and it was the first episode with Metallo. I was actually quite amazed and it left a lasting impression on me, especially the ending. Since then, Metallo has been one of my favorite Superman villains. He's a super-strong and invulnerable "Man of Steel", but with the addition of Kryptonite, he's even deadlier!
-Bizarro: I gotta say, Bizarro's just awesome. I always dug Bizarro. A twisted Superman with a backwards logic, he's just interesting. That's all you need to know!
*83.) The Joker, the Scarecrow, & Mr. Freeze (DC Comics' Batman) - Unlike the other two rogues galleries, it was REALLY hard to decide which three should be in here, because almost Batman's entire rogues gallery is awesome!
- The Joker: The Joker is an obvious choice because 1.) He's Batman's archenemy. 2.) He's been portrayed so well in modern times, in both comics and animation and ESPECIALLY film (Thank you, Mr. Heath Ledger!) I based my Joker, however, off the DCAU one, because Mark Hamill is a pimp!
- The Scarecrow: I've always dug Scarecrow characters, and Batman's Scarecrow is definitely the best! A man obsessed with fear dressed up as a spindly scarecrow is fantastic, and I especially dug that in Blackest Night he gets a Sinestro Corps ring, because him wielding a fear-based power ring is AMAZING!
- Mr. Freeze: I chose Mr. Freeze because his revamp in Batman: The Animated Series was incredible and still moves me to this day, after watching it a hundred times. So sad his story was sullied by Arnold Schwartzenegger's performance in that god-awful Batman and Robin XP
*84.) General Grievous (Star Wars) - I remember catching a glimpse of Gennedy Tartakovsky's miniseries Star Wars: Clone Wars on Cartoon Network and seeing the very first episode that featured the gruesome General Grievous and thinking, "This character just made me shit my pants". The very fact that he had the Jedi trembling in fear and then subduing and outmatching all of them just won me over immediately. Plus his badass fighting style and character design were just full of win. In fact, he was the only reason I wanted to see Revenge of the Sith, lol.
*85.) Davy Jones (Disney\'s Pirates of the Caribbean) - When I first saw Davy Jones in trailers for the second Pirates of the Caribbean movie, I could have sworn that the actor playing him (Bill Nighy) was wearing a very elaborate mask. Then I learned it was completely CGI and it blew my F***** mind! The whole concept of Davy Jones was amazingly well done and portrayed and I just couldn't get enough of the character!
*86.) Mojo Jojo (Cartoon Network\'s Powerpuff Girls) - C'mon, who doesn't love Mojo Jojo?! Seriously! He's the main reason boys watched the Powerpuff Girls, admit it! I know that was the reason for me. He's actually as evil as he constantly says over and over again, and he's a perfect combination of sheer terror and absolute hilarity. I'm either shocked or cracking up whenever he is on the scene!
*87.) Aku (Cartoon Network\'s Samurai Jack) - Another cartoon baddy that made my evenings awesome, just hearing Aku in some episodes of Samurai Jack sent shivers down my spine (like the Zombie episode *shivers*), and yet, just like Mojo Jojo, he could also crack me up soooooooooooo bad!
*88.) Majin Buu (Dragon Ball Z) - If you didn't notice, I don't have a lot of anime characters on here. Because I don't like anime I despise anime! I LOATHE ANIME!!!!!! But I did watch Dragon Ball Z as a kid and I loved the Majin Buu saga. I particularly like Buu after he began absorbing Piccolo and Gohan because his design was wicked awesome DON'T DISS THE PINK!!!
*89.) Skeletor (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe) - I never watched the original He-Man and probably never will or want to, lol. It just seemed too....... corny. Now, the 2003 remake cartoon, that's something I have watched and enjoyed thoroughly. Skeletor is just so god-damn menacing in that cartoon. His voice is so chilling and badass and he's also a serious threat. 'Nuff said!
*90.) Thrax (Osmosis Jones) - One of the slickest bad guys around, voiced by Lawrence Fishburne and made of the most evil contagions you could think of.
Finally, last, but certainly not least, the adult-oriented cartoon characters that crack me up all the time! As much as I wish I could be a kid again, I do so love some of these adult cartoons, such as on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim or Comedy Central.
*91.) Stewart "Stewie" Gilligan Griffin (Fox's Family Guy) - It's Stewie. 'Nuff said! Of course, I liked him better when he was actually evil, and not, you know, gay. -_-
*92.) Randall "Randy" Marsh (Comedy Central's South Park) - Okay, while Cartman is definitely the premier character of South Park, my favorite is Stan's dad, Randy Marsh. He's just sooooooooo......... clueless and overdramatic and awesome. I love it when he tries being serious but it ends up being overly dramatic. It's great and some of the episodes he's been in have been my favorites.
*93.) Doctor John A. Zoidberg (Fox/Comedy Central's Futurama) - Zoidberg is quite the crazy alien doctor. I like all the Futurama characters, and it was a tie between Bender and Zoidberg as to who should be on here. But I chose Zoidberg because I feel he's underrated, no offense to Bender.
*94.) Doctor Byron Orpheus (Cartoon Network's The Venture Bros.) - Venture Bros. is like my childhood watching Johnny Quest taking steroids and slapping you in the face with awesomeness. I love that it parodies both comic books and Johnny Quest, and Doctor Orpheus is just awesome. He's so overly-dramatic, and yet he can kick ass, too! Also he's a great parody of Marvel Comics' Doctor Strange
*95.) The Warden (Cartoon Network's Superjail) - I did not expect Superjail to be so awesome. I love the Warden. He's so flamboyant and off-the-wall, like an LSD-deranged version of Willy Wonka. He's great!
*96.) Dale Alvin Gribble (Fox's King of the Hill) - I REALLY hated this show when it came out. I couldn't stand the character design. But one night I got bored and watched some of the newer ones when they came on, and Dale cracked me up SOOOOOOO bad. He's so……… strange. Just so……. strange.
*97.) Master Shake (Cartoon Network's Aqua Teen Hunger Force) - Another show I couldn't stand for the longest time. I HATED Aqua Teen Hunger Force. It's so poorly animated. But now? I LOVE IT. Master Shake is so stupid yet so mean. It's great!
*98.) Uncle Ruckus (Cartoon Network's The Boondocks) - Yet another show I despised, I hated the Boondocks and their racism and their heavily-anime inspired animation. Now, it cracks me up. Uncle Ruckus is my favorite just because of the sheer irony that's he's the blackest guy on the show, yet he's a white supremacist XD. I also love hearing him talk. He just spews out bull****!
*99.) Dr. Tran (Mondo Media's Dr. Tran series) - My friend and former roommate showed me Dr. Tran my first year of college, and I kid you not, I busted up laughing for a good ten minutes during and after the first short. So ridiculous. You can't help but feel bad for the little Asian boy…… yet you can't stop laughing!
*100.) Satan (OneyNG & Newground's Leo & Satan series) - I feel so bad for putting the devil on this list. But the fact that he's a friend of a little boy named Leo, and is absolutely ridiculous, makes for him to be on this list. He's so ridiculous, PLUS, I know every line from the first cartoon XD.
All characters and ideas belong to their original owners and the original picture belongs to heatstroke2008 (Bradley A. Dotson)!
Dotson)!

I'm glad you recognized the Aardvark! Actually kinda made this up as I went along =3 I just used 10 different categories based on what I like, starting with superheroes, then Disney animated characters, then classically animated characters, then Pixar, then video game characters/more CGI animated characters, then childhood characters, then modern cartoon characters, then action characters, then villains, and finally adult characters =3
I would love to see how yours turns out! You just gotta figure out where and what characters you put in =3

                    Ah ha! I think I'm getting it now, I was a little confused by the first bit in your comments where you mentioned breaking rules ^_^;
Also, Espio was the best character in the (now) little known Sega 32X game, The Chaotix (it was best to team him up with Mighty the Armadillo, an even LESS known character these days, it seems). Sorry, Sonic-nerd over here!
