I am not familliar with the Game The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess, but I have got some mangas about the game´s story created by Akira Himekawa. Since Link isn´t a feral wolf like in the shadow world and not human either like in the light world, I suppose the dungeon he is chained up is in some kind of twilight world, where Link has become an anthro wolf.

Perhaps Eternal would be planning a visit to Hyrule's dimension and not overly familiar decided to briefly take a hero of that world into his realm. In Eternal's castle with imagination, dream and illusion all having the capacity for being real and capable of shifting in an instant it could be considered a twilight world.
Link has had many incarnations over time, maybe in nature a little like Eternal so might be affected by the nature of this realm, so finding himself in this current anthro wolf form. Though as soon as Eternal has spoken with him and learnt what he wished, he'd send Link back to Hyrule where it would be as only a moment had passed and it all seemed a curious dream.

Given the fact that ink was transformed into an anthro rabbit in the SNES version A Link to the Past as he didn´t have the magic mirror, I thought it would be cool to give him the appearence of an antro wolf in Eternal´s dimension, for it is not bright and not dark and yet both.

As with the other non-anthro wolves, it's a wonderfully interpreted anthro form merging the differing versions of Link into one.
I imagine Eternal and Link would have interesting conversations during his visit, Link having had many lives and adventures and in some ways a little like Eternal as a timeless being.
I could definitely picture Eternal as a Goriya. In some of the artwork they've got a rather canine or ratlike appearance and bushy moustaches. Maybe as a black-furred Goriya with a tunic patterned with the trefoil symbols, the blue crystal pendant and a particularly well-groomed full beard.

You're welcome. The Goriya were in the early games but I think only appeared sporadically afterwards with the last time I think in Oracle of Seasons in 2001. They stood out to me as reminding me most closely of Eternal.
Though with all the different games and various species that have appeared, lots of possibilities.

The fact that you put up a Journal and everyone said Wolf O'Donnell and you put out Wolf Link, makes me immensely happy because I feel you should stick to your guns and keep drawing what interests you more.
YOU HAVE THE MANGAS!? I only have what I think is super condensed Mangas that are basically one book! I have Ocarina of Time, Minish Cap, Four Swords Adventures, and I think The Oracle Sagas! They're all one book and I swear they had multiple books to show the whole story!
Damnit! I want all book to get every juicy piece of story! ;v;
But I am very happy to learn you own the Mangas! You deserve to learn at least one Zelda story! And of course, you picked the best one since it features Wolf Link!

In german the mangas are published in books with several chapters, but not compressed together like it sometimes happen like with the ol Knight Valiant comics.
Akira Himekawa did a good job designing the characters to come close to the original games, but the game´s stories are written rather freely from the source material, so game and manga tell both somewhat different stories.
And I only have got A Link to the Past and Twilight princess in manga form.

That's likely more Zelda Manga than I'll ever have! But I am glad to at least have something!
All of the artists that work on the Zelda Mangas do incredible jobs at making the characters feel good and shine through! I've only read my Minish Cap Legendary Edition (The singular compact Manga Book) and I can't wait to read my other ones! But unfortunately I still wish to have the uncompressed story lengths..but that aside it's really nice to know you own a couple different games' Mangas!

But in the A link to the Past manga, he actually becomes a feral wolf instead of a anthro pink bunny when he goes to the dark world

The artworks really look cool. The artist knows his business. It would make a fine anime or even a game maybe entitled "The Leegend of Zelda - A Link into the Beast-Sphere" or something like that, sporting two worlds, where Link would skip from one to another and when he does, he takes on another anthro beast form to solve the puzzles or defeat the enemies^^
I would love such a game to come true^^
