I've already been hit once. It was about 25 years ago and I was watching ball lightning playing around in the back yard near my well. All of a sudden the lightning plunged into the ground and I was sitting on my butt, halfway across the kitchen floor with my arms smarting like I'd put my thumbs in the 440-volt fuse sockets.
