Well, maybe not scientifically proven, but you see it all the time in animated media. That's got to count for something, right?
I just randomly found your latest post and clicked on the 'first' button. You are a good artist, and I'm curious to see how this story will play out. From what I've seen so far, you appear to be drawing from a more faithful or at least less Disney-fied version of the Fae, with mushroom circles and a portal to Underhill already being teased.
Most artists would've done four-panel or even eight-panel strips to try to get the story moving. But by doing two-panel shots here, you've got enough room to give us an amazing amount of detail, and I'm absolutely here for it.
