Here we find one Wendell Bohen. He's a mild-mannered sort, seemingly subdued but a friendly enough sort. He's a whiz with numbers, which is excellent for his chosen profession of as a certified accountant. Then, after he's done working for the day. prefers a quiet night in with a book or some television special than hit bars or sporting events, and his ideal for an "exciting night" is the occasional game night with his good friends, or dinner with his daughter and catching up for their day to day, bitch about their jobs or talk about their last date...

Oh? He looks a bit young to have an adult daughter? Well, he did have her young - he was barely 23 when his then-girlfriend got pregnant (they rushed to get married after they found out)... Then again, he also doesn't look like he's about 60-years-old, but that'll happen when you "die" at 36 from unknown causes while on a business trip in another country- only to reanimate into a nearly mindless, ravenous state and end up locked up in a government facility after killing and eating several homeless people... Disappearing, being presumed dead while you slowly regain your self-awareness, your memories over the course of several years - and when you try to return, your wife is married to a new man and the sunny, shy 13-year-old has turned into an a withdrawn, depressed 16-year-old that the aforementioned wife doesn't want you anywhere near...

Honestly, the loss of his marriage wasn't so much of a tragedy - he was a closeted gay man at the time (1992 when he returned to , and Eloise was something of a shrew that only cared about appearances - but he was extremely distressed about the changes in his daughter and quickly came to loathe her step-father, on top of the issues he was experiencing in regaining control of his life, curbing certain urges for human flesh... It would take years to rebuild his relationship with his daughter and explain what happened - in no small part over their bonding over both of them identifying as homosexual and being pushed into roles that they didn't truly fit into by people they cared about, among other matters...

To cut a longish story short, Wendell currently lives a quiet life in Felton, Mass., not far away from his daughter Louisa (who also transitioned into a Ghoul - a story for another time), single and not necessarily looking for love but open to "Mister Right" if he finds him, a proud Man-Eaters Anonymous card holder to help with his macabre urges, and overall "living" a happier existence now than when he was before his death.

Another beautiful piece by  Magic-Ray, of another M.E.A. member of mine! Sorry if his blurb seems a little rough - I'll admit, I've been struggling with writing Wendell's background for a while. But those are the essential details, and I think he's turned out as kind of a sweet, cutie guy if you like husky fellows (no secret - I like most shapes of guys and gals). :3
