This is Desmios, a dragon that has refussed to evolve (in the metaphorical sense). During his life, he had many limits and has convinced himself that dragons have no need in the world of men and thus wishes to push back the evolution of all dragons, including himself. Naturally, not a lot of people took to that kindly. He was eventually put into exile and has spent his days wandering in the darkness.
