I always 'The Knight' to be an interesting 'character' if they even qualify as such. Without spoiling anything, they canonically have absolutely no personality. Despite this fans of the game still project personality traits onto them and their in game portrayal isn't out of the norm for a video game. I find this to be quite a blunt statement on video game protagonists, that most of them could have all their personality removed and the narrative and fan reception would not change.
