Just a question out of curiosity, how much are you commissions?
They look like they take a whole lot of work.
If you're doing them for shows and the likes, I'm sure they're well worth the effort.

The cost depends on your size (for items like warmers and tails) and which items you're interested in. My wigs are a flat $110 (though the above was $122 to accommodate the muttonchops), unitard painting/fur varies by design, warmers have a bit of a complicated formula, and tails are $12 + $1/inch. There are other bits and bobs in there, but those are the main things that I get orders for. If you're interested a bit more in my technique, I've a commission website (stretch.roxanne597.com) with an overview of how I go about everything. =)

You hand paint/ink the unitards entirely?

There's a good-sized group of us that attend FC regularly, usually we've got cats-musical type stuff, but every once in a while there's a cool project that pushes those skills to a new place! But yeah, everything's hand-painted. My favorites to use are Jacquard brand Textile Inks and Dye-na-flow, I use brushes, sponges, tipped bottles - it takes time, but it's rewarding.

Oh, money. It's a tricky thing, that. The tour cast is really good this season, so I hear, if you get another chance you should see it!
