Improved version of the earlier designed CH-01 Micro Gravity-Well Generator which was fatal to living targets

Operation: Two handed, much like a rifle
Effect: Matter Reduction through generation of localized micro gravity well. Basically, it is a short range Shrink Rifle. The earlier version of this weapon caused instantly fatal crushing of the target however this newer version is "safe" to use on living organisms and the effect is temporary. The duration of the effect varies greatly, but is typically less than an hour.
The main body of the weapon is a long cylindrical gas emitter protruding from a compression chamber.
Mounted above the emitter is a second smaller cylindrical laser with a focusing lens at the tip.
To the rear of this is the gas cylinder which is attached to a regulator to allow for removal and reloading.
A gas tube connects the regulator to the compression chamber.
A curved wooden stock is mounted below the gas emitter and compression chamber which tapers down to a point.
An electronic trigger is bolted to the top of the stock and wired haphazardly into the main body. (Rigoarans only have three fingers so this trigger design allows them to grip the stock with the two opposable digits and use the middle digit to press down on the trigger.
On the left side of the body of the weapon is a pair of small dials for making adjustments to the laser focus point and gas pressure.
What are Rigoarans:
Rigoarans are a species of sentient reptilians that originate from the Utah Raptor of Earth's Cretaceous period. They stand approximately 2.5 meters tall and have a more upright stature than the original Utah Raptors they descended from. The most obvious divergence in their physiology is their monocular vision. Their ocular cavities have merged while their nasal cavity has expanded. This gives them an incredible sense of smell but only a single eye in the center of their forehead. They have two long horns that rise from the top of their heads and curve backwards. They are generally smooth and taper to a point. Their hands have three digits, two of which are opposable. They have lost the long sickle shaped claws of their ancestors for more stunted claws that allow the easier use of tools. Their feet do still retain the long sickle shaped claw on the middle toe that points to their Utah Raptor ancestry. Their teeth are very reminiscent of the serrated teeth of the Utah Raptor, though somewhat smaller in comparison. Rigoarans have a sandy or pebbly textured skin that ranges from yellow-brown to dark brown. They can have markings in different shades of these colors, usually in patterns of spots or stripes. Their eyes range in color from green to copper colored and very rarely blue or amethyst. They have vertical pupils much like a cat or a lizard. Rigoaran young are able to eat meat from birth and therefore females do not have mammary glands. Females do tend to be larger than males and trend towards the lighter skin tones. Rigoarans often adorn their horns with trinkets and still paint their skin with war paint for ceremonial functions. The designs typically are reminiscent of elemental powers such as fire, lightning, wind, or water. In rare cases death imagery such as skulls are also seen. Most commonly used colors of paint would be Yellow, Blue, White, or Red. Green is reserved for spiritual leaders and they tend to use more free form designs such as spirals or zig-zag lines .
Where are they from:
Rigoarans are descendants of what we know as the Utah Raptor. They left Earth around 125 million years ago on a great star-ship. They did not construct the ship themselves but utilized the wreckage of an extra-terrestrial vessel that had crashed. It is claimed by most Rigoaran historians that all occupants aboard had died but it is very likely that the Rigoarans simply killed them and took the ship. The Rigaoarans were able to activate the ship's return function and the ship then returned them to its place of origin which they then colonized.
Where do they live:
Rigoarans currently reside in the Pahraka cluster which is many thousands of light years from the Milky Way galaxy. The Asanti star around which their planet orbits is circled by three other planets. The closest to the star is Arentak. Arentak is a volcanic wasteland and is unsuitable for life. The second planet is Mohlencia which has a greatly elongated orbit. This causes extreme temperature fluctuations making it also not habitable. The farthest planet is Yasber, a gaseous planet surrounded by rings of debris. The third planet and their home is called Rigoar. The Rigoaran day is thirty-seven hours and one year is three hundred eighty-two and a third days. Rigoar's axis is tilted at twenty-eight degrees. Rigoar has two large continents, Nimalto and Saark. The Rigoarans live on Nimalto as Saark was rendered uninhabitable by the planet's previous civilization.
What is their system of government:
Rigoarans are a peaceful people but that was not always so. In the past their government was divided into five clans: Meldoch, Glemdor, Serdohl, Ferginar, and Zulm. These clans competed with each other and developed powerful weapons of war. For nearly three thousand years the clans fought each other in many bloody wars. No single clan was able to hold on to power for long. Eventually a charismatic leader and skilled tactician rose to power within clan Mehldoch and was able through negotiation and strategic use of force to unite the clans under one banner. They called their new united government the Darbaak Republic and it remains in control to this day. The foundation of this government is a council over which the five clan leaders preside. They rule from a magnificent hall in Martoch which is the former capital of clan Meldoch. Beneath the clan leaders are committees that manage the many aspects of government from military to medical care.
