I DIDN'T SHOOT IT!!! mom came and got me and said there was a huge snake outside so I grabbed a shotgun Incase it was poisonous because we have chickens, cats, and my brother and sister so I try to keep the danger noodles to a minimum, I have no idea what kind it was but it wasn't venomous so I was happy to have it around to help with pests. If anyone knows what species it is please let me know lol.
