Fur the curious: Manga Sekai Mukashi Banashi (literally "cartoon world old stories", or "illustrated tales of the world") was an anime series that ran from 1976 to 1979. This tiger was from Season 1, Episode 55, based on the Korean folktale, "The Clever Rabbit".
Fun fact: There was more than a resemblance to Shere Khan in Disney's Jungle Book. When the tiger first appears in the episode, he's a direct draw-over of Shere Khan's walking animation from the movie.
