Florida sucks. It really does. All the utilities have appeared to have gone up and despite trying to figure out how to get some of them or other bills lowered - it's no good. So on top of all our other expensives, we've now got an extra $300-400 we have to come up with. My work is slow this time of year. Everybody's hours got cut. Yes, I am working on finding another job. I've currently got ten plus applications out. I've had two interviews - both of which have decided to go with someone who had more experience/a degree in that field. Understandable - it was worth a shot! I'm now looking into retail (ick) again and maybe other customer service jobs. I'm definitely trying. Husband's trying to pick up more ours for overtime. We're at the point of if we can't get a discount for our daycare (just waiting on my final W2 to come in to apply), we'll have to pull my son out of his school. I Don't want to do that. We're caught up, for the moment, but we're about to get hit hard at my husband's next check.

I didn't want to go as low as 50% off but after seeing so many other artists struggling to find clients I realized I don't have much of a chance unless I really cut my prices down. I've now got commissions as low as $2.50! I'm only taking a certain amount at a time so I don't overwhelm myself obviously. I'm off work until Monday (daycare doesn't run on weekends and my husband's working 12 hr shifts, so I'm unable to work right now. We don't have a reliable babysitter. My mom would love to babysit but she hurt her back right before my dad passed and it hasn't healed. My son's close to 28lbs now and she can't even sit with him on her lap for very long. Fractured spines suck.). I'll be working pretty much nonstop.
