Snow and ice crunches under foot, flickering with starlight as the powder catches the twilight. She ascends the mountain pass, the air uncharacteristically still, not a cloud can be seen marring the beauty of the night sky. The sky is alive with the swirling of galaxies, unfathomable in their distance and scale. She pauses for a moment to contemplate the beauty of the moment. She tilts her head to the sky to admire the grandeur, how the stars twinkle, how the last light of the setting sun clings to the mountaintops, and how the moonlight reflects off of the frozen lake below. She continues her acescent towards the summit, drawn by some unknown impulse, alien and mysterious, yet somehow familiar.
Well I hadn’t intended to get anymore art of Fiadh anytime soon, but this YCH just spoke to me (I have a weakness for stars it does seem). I absolutely love how her colors work with the setting, so complimentary, yet still providing some contrast to make her stand out. And I adore how her fur and fluff look in Tayilipse’s style! She looks so sweet and gorgeous <3
Thank you so much for painting her, I could not be happier with how she turned out! I think I’ll be getting this printed to compliment the other wintery scene of her ^^
