Minor update to fix two tiny issues. The quickdraw game over screen wouldn't restart if you pressed spacebar, and I left a bugtest number in. Here's the new link:

Here it is! Part 4 of Texas in Trouble. The showdown with Roxxie Roo! Not much to say about this, just that I hope you all enjoy it, and that there aren't too many bugs... The game is getting to a point where older laptops won't reliably be able to play it due to how much of an extreme memory hog it is, but I'm still planning to do a bit more overall polish and update it to Gamemaker 2 for a proper final release, which should help with those problems. For now though, enjoy fighting the big bad roo herself!

Well, For now I just found one little minor issue:
If you lose during roxxie's draw, the game doesn't let restart or continue from that point,
Although it's still possible trough the level select section, but you have to go trough the menu each time
And, that's it for now, I still have to try and beat Roxxie, but damn she's quite hard , I'll try more later when I get some free time

after a second viewing I realized there was more to the game after the standoff, I thought the game ended there on purpose lmao, so after that, I was able to fight Roxxie... gotta say, it felt like the dark souls of kink games fighting her... but I was able to beat her despite losing my mind in the process. but it was a good challenge nonetheless~
so what I'm trying to say is this game was much better than I expected~ and I love it to pieces now more than ever! thank you so much for creating this treasure!

I will be excited to try this tomorrow! It looks like the boss fight is in this version so is the game considered done or are you still going to consider tweaks? Like. do you have any plans to revisit some of the older enemies to spice them up a little? IIRC the big bunny only had one or two grabs, but also those opossum enemies from the first, it might be really cool if they had an animation they would eventually do when there was only one instead of just holding down Texas forever. Something to think about but too tired to try tonight.
This game is as egregious in RAM consumption as it is both fun and gratifying in the kinks it attempts to deliver. Not only have I given the base game numerous playthroughs to just see the wonderful animations that you only seem to get better at as time allows. I've also really gone through almost every single interaction possible in the game. It's kind of insane the amount of detail you've given this last scene. From the varied scene presentations to the build-up and definitely Big Boss-esque style of the final confrontation. You've gone and delivered what other fetish game developers struggled to deliver along with their pieces, or flat-out refused to: A palatable plot.
(Also the Resident Evil 4 Ashley death-type game overs are some of the funniest ones out there. All it's missing is a "SHOW ME A GOOD TIME, TEX!" right before the clashing of proverbial swords.)
I can only hope that your support only grows as time, (and Roxxie) allows.

I'm gonna expand real quick on this and say: The amount of counterplay on every move of Roxxie is honestly perplexing. I wouldn't quite say it's possible to do a no-hit run of this thing, but at least you can beat her ass senseless in one life with the interesting bait and switch moves that put her on a back-foot (not to mention some moves are straight-up detrimental to her if you don't miss). On this chapter, gameplay is finely in-tune with the kink content to where I didn't know whether I wanted to win or LOSE the grapple!
The RAM thing is a serious problem which I'm trying to get fixed for the final release, but it'll require a lot of work... But thank you! I'm so proud to receive such glowing praise, and it seems like you've really plumbed the depths of what the game has to offer! Did you find the secret game over screen though? The one that doesn't appear on the board in the sheriff's station?
I cant believe i skipped the controls to find this out now, I haven't used the sprint for the entire game and likely gave myself more trouble than i needed. Compliments on the amazing game and creativity with all the game over screens and interactions btw, your content really hits that sweet spot for me.
(Also, i haven't managed to focus and tell but is that Roxxie hiding in one of the mines up the right side of the mountain?)

With the amount of NSFW furry games I've seen go unfinished and get abandoned, I'm genuinely really suprised to see something as high quality as Texas in Trouble get all its levels finished. I've been watching this game since the first release, and it's been such a treat to see your animation evolve and improve over the levels. From the bottom of my heart, I have a ton of respect for your dedication to this project. It's seriously good work, and I'm super proud to see you stick with it after all this time. Also, your generosity in making this game available to everyone is very much appreciated. You're a very special artist in our community, stellar job.
DUDE! that....incredible. Amazing. Fantastic. Best chapter so far! And what a unique gameplay! The horse part was really something. Amazing that you "break the mold" of having just fighting sequences. That was the levels are very interesting.
Also...that ending... I shit you not it got me by surprise. But I sooo lacked that kind of content.
(trying to stay spoiler free ;) )
Aaaaalso...found a "secret" ending. I have to say, it was nice, but it was a bit like beating the dead horse, if you know what I mean.

Hahah can’t wait to play. I’ll have to use my main machine though. I tried it on my ancient laptop computer an old windows vista pentium II dual cores with two gigs of ram and that was the first time I’ve seen it outright say it was out of memory lol. Some of the text and most the images won’t even load on that old brick heheh~
So i have just finished my playthrough of the new level and all i have to say is "Absolutely fantastic, the way that you were able to just balance the gameplay and the kink areas of the game is spot on and i had so much fun playing this, the roxxie boss was relatively difficult, starting with the shootout but after i figured out what i had to do that part was easy, the boss was another level of difficulty but nothing i didn't have fun with going against, although i will admit that the game overs/life lost animations of the roxxie fight was top notch, absolutely fantastic, i especially liked the animation that plays if you lose the punch combo thing she does, and i almost forgot the butterscotch area, really fun to play and amazing art styles, i salute you sir for all your hard work put into this game, well worth the wait and i can't wait for the next level, but don't take that as a message to rush yourself, take all the time you need and want for it
although i have to ask and i don't know if this would be counted as a spoiler but the game over screen you get from punching the lying down butterscotch, is there a reason why that don't show up on the game over board like the caramel ones and all the others throughout the game?

one glitch I found was when chasing roxxie on horseback, she was in 2 places at once. she started on the right of the screen, then another showed up on the left throwing dynamite. I'm guessing that roxxie is supposed to run offscreen and then show up behind you, but there was a glitch when that was supposed to happen
I finally played it and I have to say you're incredibly creative in coming up with many kinky ways of humiliating Texas! I try to see as many ways of "dying" as possible since losing is more fun than winning in this game! I only try winning so I can see more kinky ways of dying further into the game! Also, will there be more after that huge ending?
Uhh, you should just be able to keep hitting Z or Esc to leave the menu. And backdashing is the best way to deal with Roxxie (Spacebar). You can't win in a straight-up fight, so you need to get a few hits in and get out of there, and the backdash is the best way to do that.
*after 10 concurrent attempts hot take *
the damn cow is too hard , it has many too many jank hit-boxes ,making it an exercise in pulling your hair out, added on top of that, the rampage mode seems to be impossible to avoid with any degree of certainty, sometime the cow will hit you, sometimes it wouldn't, with a time it takes to tire out taking usually one or lives to get it to that point. the final nail being that in the last attempt, I got to the last phase for the first time thanks to randomly generated bullets and meat ( not really a comment on the boss' difficult, however, the drop rates of items seem to make or break a lot of the fights in this level).

And what are you supposed to do? What should I do with this giant fat ass kangaroo?) I don't mind the look but it's a collapse. I don’t know what to do next, and how can I fight with her in the next chapter? Phew okay, the game is interesting, a lot of beautiful curves, though I'm not a farthing fan, but tolerable. Well done for making this game and keep it going. Although I expected we will defeat Roxy and everything will end, and here you have a piano from the bottom. As a foreign gamer, it’s difficult for me to understand the plot, I need to translate to understand what’s going on, but now I was interested in going through the chapter and watching the game over scenes, I don’t know what will happen next, but I will wait for the continuation.
Great work! I had a blast getting blasted. Played back through the rest of the game and was reminded of how much hard work must have gone into this project. Spoilers ahead:
Getting to the end, I started wondering how you were going to top your previous boss fights, but Roxxie truly impressed me. I love the idea that Tex is almost fated to wind up betwixt Roxxie's cheeks. Makes me almost think that her getting pummelled into the valley is the canon ending. Also love Roxxie's coy acknowledgement when you finally beat her in the draw - she knows that you the player have wound up between her cheeks a million times already.
The ending has me so excited for what's to come. The game's quality has been consistently good, and I loved the secret ending - Roxxie finding you losing to an enemy that wasn't even a threat is hilarious.
I hope this isn't the last game we get to see out of you, SF. I don't understand any of these comments that can beat it in an hour - the game always eats a day out of me, just getting all the bad endings again and again. Thank you and I can't wait for the final instalment!

Ah shucks, that's quite the heaping of praise! I really wanted to try and make the Roxxie fight special, starting with a longer, more dialogue-heavy game over for the quickdraw. One of my favourite parts about game overs/bad ends is teasing dom dialogue throughout, but that's something that's been mostly lacking so far.
The secret ending was very spur of the moment, but I'm very happy with how that came out, and I'm both excited and a little nervous about the final phase of the Roxxie fight. I haven't exactly animated or programmed a macro-sized roo before...
I definitely have more games planned, and I'm delighted to hear you enjoy taking your time and watching Texas lose. That's exactly what I hope people do! Thank you so much!

Really, really awesome stuff! I finally got around to playing it today and had a bunch of fun, haha. Never gotten too much into gas myself, but the amount of peril, squashing, butt-related things, game over screens, and minions laughing at you as you're in dire straits, it's really fun! Probably going to make me more of a fan of a lot more things now, ahahah. x3 Only thing I struggled with was the boss fights with the giant cow and Roxxie at the end; I had to abuse her repeatedly falling over when hit and stunlock her in order to get her whittled down enough. Dodging doesn't work too well when she's hitting so fast, it interrupts the dodge. x3 Still though, there's an incredible amount of interactions between enemies and a ton of great game overs and deaths, really nice stuff! Congrats on getting it all done! Unless there's still more to come, hohoho
I mean if anything it's not that I didn't enjoy gas, it's just never been a huge draw, ahaha
But it's stuff like this that might very well change my mind on it, that's for sure x3
Oh yeah, and, the "secret ending" is wonderful, I totally was expecting something to happen and then it did and was very deserved, haha x3

i tried playing today, and my computer gave me a message about a memory error, now most of the game's screen is covered in white squares. (below each of the arrows on the main menu and covering almost the entire gallery screen.) anyone got any suggestions for how I can get it working again?
If you just fall, then the game over will always be the vehicles, but each enemy has a game over for if they KO you with their special moves: The sheep's butt-drop, the pig's bellyflop and the cow's grab.
Though I have no idea why you don't have audio for the game. It definitely has audio.

I really want to like this but the button mash spam to multistage 'team ups' gets really frustrating at times, plus there's times where enemies hit you out of the jump kick, or, when you 'die' and use a badge, they'll hit you as you respawn/grab you at that point, it's really freaking frustrating
Yeah, noticed there is a newer version but even ran into some issues on that, like the horse chase bit with the tunnels, some times it wouldn't give the sign for 'the right path' or even before that, when trying to catch up spots where the 'fully blocked' paths would overlap slightly, resulting in undodgeable damage if you got unlucky, on the 'macro boss' fight portion, the 'if you go this way you die' part was confusing at first, and the spammed instant kills with long animations did get frustrating at times too, I had to result to the f9 bit after the 'tail slap' attack pattern was added as I couldn't figure out how to even damage her further at that point
Fair enough! The sign for the third tunnel comes DIRECTLY after the second tunnel, so you have to remember it through the sequence. As for the tail slam, if you dodge the three slams (Always goes left -> right -> center), Tex and the TNT box get bounced into the air, and you can shoot it on the way down. But yes, the macro phase can be a bit frustrating for sure. Definitely something I should go back and tweak.
