Original Species: Lesser Dryus
The Lesser Dryus is a common, forest-dwelling herbivorous dinosaur. While females of this species have greyish-brown feathers to help them blend in with the leaf litter while brooding, the males are easily recognized by their vibrant plumage which they use to impress potential mates.
They travel through the underbrush in small flocks of 5-8 individuals and communicate by making high-pitched chittering and squeaking sounds. This earned them the nickname of "Squeakers".
Lesser Dryus are fairly skittish, but once they deem the average, casual human observer as non-threatening, they will approach them, curious and eager to investigate. They enjoy seeds.
