Old old ref from back in the day I tried to play PonyFinder with some friends. The game didn't last long but I grew so attached to my character I kept her for other purposes than a dice game.
Had a few changes over the years but never made a new ref as the changes are mostly additions and change in main setting.
But this one character gave birth to the concept of the Silver Clan, used plenty in my different RP's.
The Silvers are recognized by their dark coats and silver white manes, all bat ponies. They are strict on their breeding program to avoid inbreeding while also keep the bloodline from getting too thinned out.
In Princess Luna's absence after Nightmare Moon's banishment, the Clan stood up to watch over and guide the surviving bat ponies deciding to hide away from rest of Equestria due to the day time ponies showing too much distrust and superstition about these followers of Luna.
The Clan has grown strong and been the bat ponies' leaders for centuries, until Luna's return, where they are now forced to try and untangle themselves from this control, after being so used to it. With a lot of underhooved methods and extremist belief systems.
