Wow, really exciting title, eh?
Apparently, permanent markers shine when they are being scanned 0.0 See, the background of the picture was done with markers, doing a pointillism effect, and then washing over them with water to blend it together to look like watercolours. Now, in doing so, that causes the paper to rumply up, and thus making it irritating as hell to scan. Because the paper appeared to be rumply, when it scans, it causes all these ectoplasmic effects all over the place, and evidently, it causes permanent markers to shine... 0.0 Since I butchered my other pens (and then the new set of pens, ALL OF THEM, were ALL DEAD WHEN I BOUGHT THEM STUPID MICRONS.) I needed something new to ink with, so I found a Sharpie at Staples which had a thick point and then a fine point. It made for perfect inking. But...erg. It looks like my scanner didn't like it. I think it's just because of the marker water effect thingie. I'll try and scan this one again in a few weeks once it's more flat, and hopefully we won't have paranormal activity going on....
Anyhoo, just something I did at work. It's Mitch, just..um... standing, probably talking, we don't know about what, but it's just a drawing of him.I love how it came out, but his eyes look purple (they're supposed to be dark brown...)... but then again, they could be contacts or something... Mitchell would do that kinda thing :D I love using markers with waters, I think it looks REALLY neat. I just hate the rumpling of the paper, argh....
Not really too much else to say about this, just Mitchell standing around talking :D Mitchell here is © to Jess Ratte :D
