Princess and Master have returned from their trip to Winselton, and that means it's time to work on the project of enchanting! Then it's a trip to town to show the blacksmith, get a meal, head home. And drop another bombshell on poor Princess. She just has none of the luck, doesn't she? But at least now we have a cool lantern, so that makes it better, right?
I surprised myself, doing the entire chapter in one day. I was just caught up in the flow of it, even if it was a bit hard emotionally to write. ^_^;; It's an average weight, 6007 words, which comes in at around 9.5 pages. Was gonna be 6006, but I noticed I left a word out at the last second, so no palindrome number, sorry.
I kind of feel like not a lot happened this chapter, and yet quite a bit did? At least something important happened: Master learned Enchanting Lv 1! Wait, that's not the important thing... ^_~

Hopefully not blindsided in a bad way? She didn't have trauma that was specifically belly-related, and Tola gets past a lot of her guards anyway because of their bond. I do feel like I could've handled the eggs a little better, though. Just one of several reasons I plan to rewrite Book 1, trying to bring the quality up to be more in line with the others. I hadn't really planned to write a series when I started out, after all. ^_^;;
Part of what drove Elimaio mad was the desire to prove that transformation magic could be dangerous, and you could get "stuck" in a form. Someone close to him tried to convince him he was wrong, and he accused them of wanting to get humped by animals. He was already getting pretty unhinged due to abuse of Dragon Scale, and it only got worse once he got kicked out. >.>
