We went strawberry picking and I found the pickup truck Judy Hopps used in Zootopia... now if only I could find her.

It's a result of too much useless knowledge clogging a brain XD
Basically, the older trucks didn't come with 6 lug wheels, it wasn't until the 70s that GM started putting 6 lug wheels on, and only on the four wheel drive models. I own a 99 Chevy that those particular wheels came on, that's why I said 99, but as Arsonos points out below, they are compatible from 88 up until 2015 or so

once upon a time (aircraft mechanic for 40 some years) the junk yard guys knew me by name as I was always coming to them for parts... sometimes that's a blessing, and sometimes a curse, especially when I saw cars in better shape than the one I was driving sitting in the yard.

I do think you are mistaken, Chevy and GMC had used 6 on 5.5 inch bolt pattern on their two wheel drive 1/2 ton pick-ups sense the 40s while Ford used 5 on 5.5 on theirs. It wasn't till 69 that GM switched to the smaller 5 bolt pattern that was used on their cars on their 2wd 1/2 ton pick-ups because that was the model year USDOT required all cars and light trucks to have duel circuit breaks, yes GM did retained the 6 bolt pattern on their 4wd.
I use to work in a tire shop in the late 70s and saw all kinds of old Chevy and GMC pick-up I also did brakes on them so I have a good idea of what I'm saying... hard to beat hands on experience.
I know they had and still have kits to put the 5 bolt wheel pattern disk brakes on the older drum brake trucks to have modern duel circuit brakes.

All those vintage trucks had character in their styling it was easy to tell the different manufacturers apart by just a glance. Today's rigs not so much at first glance... they are all rather boxy no real flair or styling to the side body panels like the older trucks. The front ends and the badging is the distinguishing thing same with the back end.
