There exists a team called the Downward Dogs from the Olden Times of History in the fantasy game. They're not active in any current seasons. SO NATURALLY I MADE A THING FOR THEM. Cause Roleplay and shenanigans on Twitter are a fun thing with Blaseball, but can easily be ignored cause its all fandom wankery. Wonderful Fandom Wankery.
Ruffles is the team's reporter, a regular Lois Lane of canine news. Or so she tells people.
She once bit a coin shaped elder god. Don't mess with her.
