Eclipse's CSCC Studio Art Degree Plan
I've been speaking with my financial aid advisor (her name is Holly), she's very kind and has been walking me through my entire experience at the college I'm currently attending (CSCC) - here is the current plan we came up with, provided everything goes smoothly, to get me my Studio Arts degree as soon as possible before transferring to another school (OSU for my Bachelor in Fine Arts or something along those lines most likely, I'm still working out the details as I get to them). If you'd like to see my current semester plans, check out my post here.
I'm very excited to see where the future takes me, and I don't mind taking summer classes at all. Don't worry, if I need to I will take a break - but for now college has been great for me overall, bringing along some cool opportunities. I love sharing them with all of you! ^.=.^

Colleges really should stop forcing people to do extra curriculums especially when it comes to people with lower income, Lack of time, Or people with emotional problems like me that rather learn to build up more energy to stick to doing art more often, and building better work ethics in a field that I have a passion for, rather than learning something irrelevant like "Sociology of deviance."
Again all that time that could be used to actually study art.
The college should be ashamed of themselves.
Art: 21hrs
Other:27hrs
There's more irrelevant courses than there is to art courses that a person looking for a degree in the arts. FFS.

Preach and go off, my dragon friend. Completely valid and I agree, it's so frustrating and was exact what I was thinking while making this plan. At least they will be "fun" required classes, but it is silly that there is so little actual drawing required for an art degree lol. Hopefully it'll be better, not worse, once I'm at a University. I guess we will see. Society is so stupid. ^.=.^;;
