Happy Coatimundi Day! At least, theoretically, the Cohanzick Zoo in southern New Jersey was supposed to upstage those groundhogs by letting their three coatis judge, by which plate of fruits they go to, whether spring will come early. I can't find any news articles about whether it actually happened, though. So, instead, here's a drawing referenced from a photograph a friend found, one with a coati standing on hindpaws and one hanging out like normal. Gave me a chance to look at just how long our paws are, though. That's always nice.
