well since the release of Pokemon Legends, the shown the new form of samurott an water/dark type, i know is said before (i think) he could not evolve, though with the help of Anuca's potions and a good training lifestyle he evolved into a strong new form of a samurott. he returns home from his training and meets up with his sister Wottie (they are twins by the way).

note; his arm was bitten of by a gyarados years ago, now he has a shell water robotlike arm. that's why it looks like that
