Prev | First | NextI won a second comic auction, so here's my love letter to James Bond and other classic Cold War espionage stories.
The idea in that first panel is that Calypso is removing the bottom part of her dress skirt in order to let her move more freely. Unfortunately, she's only in one more panel in this outfit and it doesn't really show it. This is where an additional panel or two showing her sneaking around would have been useful.
The old-fashioned phone and typewriter on the desk indicate the time period.
The shift back to Tomiko narrating works better, I think. Gotta love the classic thigh garter concealed weapons.
Doctor Rat has a pretty fancy Roman-inspired bath. As Bond-style villains do.
