Been tempted to see if the average gamer could actually carry a sack of loot. Have a backpack filled with lead to simulate a bunch of gold and silver coins. say 50 pounds/ 22 Kg of birdshot in bags. First, try to put it on your back. Now run, the Dragon just woke up.

You can tell by the way they are built. The few times I DM'd, I drove players crazy. I worked in equipment failures - no bag of holding, sorry your pack burst at the seams and spilled your loot. Those two running and losing gold and gems reminded me of that
