For those who tuned in last night to talk about cooking, here's the pot ten hours later- had some for breakfast, a little heavy on the curry powder but otherwise amazing.
Next time I'm going to try using a creamy tomato base.

Its a base of 2 jugs V8 spicy, 1 bottle yeungling, about 3 tbs curry powder(Yellow), a tbs pprika, a tbs black pepper, salt to taste, 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce, some montreal steak seasoning, a sprig of dried rosemary(Probably about 1/2 tbs?), and for the root veggies..
4 potatoes
1 red pepper
1/2 head califlower
2 handfuls chopped baby carrots
3 handfuls green beans, broken up
1 large onion
2 tbs garlic powder or 1 tbs chopped garlic
and 2 portabello mushrooms which were seared first in a dash of rum and two pats of butter, with 1/2 tsp salt and pepper, and just a hint of cayenne pepper, and a spoonful of liquid from the stew
Once they were seared and carmelised, they were dumped in the stew and let it simmer overnite on LOW(6-10 hours)

Its just a rip on "Cellar stew", but without the stew beef. You can also use 2 cans of tomato paste, 6 cups of water(Alternately 4 cups of water and 2 cups of cream, cream added after the fact of course so it doesnt get all nasty).
I left the lima beans and corn out cause my bf doesnt like them :( But they definately taste great

There's a fun way to slip beans in that most people will never notice.
Take a handful or two of your favorite bean in dry#put it in a coffee grinder. Grind it to powder. Makes the soup creamier without adding cream and adds to the protein value. Also, the bean grind cooks very fast.
