The common rix is much akin to a dragonborn in its build, being bulkier with a hint of ferality to its construction. Its back boasts a thin, fibrous mane from which the sporous mist of hexatexime is emanated, with its claws capable of adhering to most surfaces to cling firm. Though it looks formidable, its truest strength is found in its ability to extend its ligaments and retract them like a grapple, let alone the fierce pressure its jaws exert or the sharpness of its tail. Though it mainly lingers among the R-zones and around the perimeter of infected societies, its hide is as tough as the bark of a tree, further padded by the rubbery glaze that drips from its fingers and feet. Only intense fire seems to slow its pursuit, though at the cost of attracting the rage of an entire hive fragment.
