fantasy /reality

Another of the five kimono haiku pieces, this one is the dichotomy between fantasy and reality. Fantasy's kimono is rife with dragons riding clouds, while her obi depicts (of course!) a castle in the sky, without foundation. In contrast, reality's kimono is a watercourse from which clay has been taken to make pots. That same river is on her obi, with lilies... and on her fan is a castle inspired by fantasy's, but real.
We need a little bit of both, then, to make dreams come true.

so you're saying they need to work hand in hand to have things happen, just as the two people here hold hands.
